What's new

The other heavy metal music.

Pandora finally bit the dust on my phone entirely. Too old of an OS version on too old of a phone. My oldest was getting into Jethro Tull, so I was playing that station when we were working in the attic. All I can run now is music off my laptop.

Just two boys here. None of us have seen Frozen. They both seem to have my taste for adult horror films that I preferred over Disney/cartoonish films at that age. Wouldn't be surprised if my oldest starts requesting Hans Zimmer and other alike lol.

Remember this one.

Goes from metal to a TooL-ish sound at 2:30 and then that brain tickling jammy guitar at 3:40. So good.

Keith's playing is badass, but his songs weren't at the top of my list for a while. Going back and listening again, it is the heaviness that I like. He and Wes started Alluvial. First album was pretty good. Sarcoma is by far my favorite album of this year, though, and the band does not include Keith.

Need to go through this thread again. So much goodness.

Pretty sure I posted HRFTR before and it might be one of the links that got wiped out.

I really liked Galaktikon, but i wasnt all that impressed with the second.

Did you guys hear the new Shadow Of Intent? The whole album is awesome.

The new Fit For an Autopsy album is great too

I was longing for Wes to put out a playthrough of Thy Underling. Gotta post it here just because. That tone is ridiculously nasty.

Cool stuff. I am looking for new pickups to put in the '97 Epiphone Explorer I just bought, might have to check those out. I have SDs in one of my Jacksons but I am planning on swapping them for a set of Black Winter's and was going to put the old ones in the Explorer but will look at these.

Going to look into this one some more. They got a slightly different approach. There's ten short songs in the video, apparently.

and all i can say is - cold is the void

Don't remember if I had posted this one. Bunch of posts are still blank and I lost a lot of what in here.

This is the only song by this artist or band that I'm aware of. Very Meshuggah-like, but instrumental.

The Absent Vega - Agora
