What's new

The other heavy metal music.

I'm gonna watch that again on the laptop. Had it playing in the truck on my way to town. Thought it might be cheesy, but that actually sounded decent.

It is strangely not that bad. It popped up in my recommendations, probably due to too much Band-Maid, and I had to check it out with the guy's face paint in the thumbnail. Surprisingly, those guys have a shit ton of albums and have been around since the late '80s.

Metal is a classification hobby like philately or numismatics at this point. The only difference is the guys who collect stamps get richer, and the guys who collect heavy metal experiences get deafer and dumber.
I remember when I was about 10 years old and my mom would talk this way..... I’m gonna go masterbate now like I did back then!!!!!!

Wish there was a way to turn this thread into a playlist!!!

That Fkn Asian one...... caught me off guard with that one!!! Wife even laughed when the lyrics kicked in!!!

Picking off some of the heavier stuff from my library as I skim through it in Winamp. Creating some rabbit holes, if you will.

Always loved Death Metal ballads and love songs. This needs to be LOUD with enough bass to feel the guitar in the chorus for full effect. Starts off mellow, then kicks your ass.

Band is defunct now I think but some good material out there. I got on them from Angry Joe using a clip of their music at the end of his video game review vids on YouTube.

Been for fucking ever since I played any Caliban. Way back in the Napster days, I think. This one is simple and nasty.

Fuck yeah - something new to blast at work tomorrow:grinpimp:

For those that can get into the slightly techy, industrial metal, Drown's Hold On To The Hollow album is a very angry masterpiece.

Absolutely the best "Fuck that bitch" type of break-up album in existence. I am not responsible if you go full retard and kill anyone. :flipoff2:

Digging these. Don't think I've heard them before.

More on the industrial side. Most here probably already know of this band.

ICS Vortex, the former bassist for Dimmu Borgir, is now in a All Star mega-band called Borknagar. He does lead vocals on the latest album:

A couple from the previous album:

Facebook

Haven't quite gotten in to them. Awesome to hear and see efforts of bands making their way into different genres in other coutries.

When I first heard Fractalize, I looked them up and was flabbergasted that they were in Moldova.
