If there was no welfare and free medical, we wouldn’t need a wall. There wouldn’t be droves of people coming. The only people coming would be hard workers. That’s the way it was in the early days of the republic.

My understanding is they had the votes to impeach but Dems pulled one of their members back directly out of surgery to vote, making it a tie vote, Procedure says that in the event of a tie, one member must change their vote to non passing and there will be a revote within a week. Scalise missed this vote due to cancer treatment, so he will be back the next vote and it "should" pass if no one else changes their vote.

The fact that the collapse will take 30-50yr and you'll spend your whole life paying oppressive taxes trying to stave it off on behalf of a generation of politicians who will get elected by leeches who don't want the bennies to stop.

That's debatable, These are members that never seem to vote with the GOP. Procedurally it can be brought to a vote again, and if Scalice is back in chamber it can be passed 216-215 without those 3 members changing their vote.
