What's new

Teacher of the month

What is snapchat used for?
It's a picture/video messaging app that was the precursor to tik tok.
Your message auto deletes after a set time, and if the person(s) you sent it to saves it you get a notification. Like most apps, it was first popular among young adults, and because of the auto delete feature became a popular way for young women to send nudes. Now it's become more popular with older people, just like any other app eventually does, and you have middle aged women using it to pretend to be hot again.

Not everyone uses it for that though, I know several people that use the app for every day communication instead of texting. Which is annoying because you either have to save messages or they get deleted and you can't remember what someone told you.

Thank you, I always suspected it was used just for nudes.

Sounds like a good time waster

What is snapchat used for?
It replaces a phone number and is used daily for texting back and forth.
Forget what others say about sending nudes, most kids don't use it for that, they just use it to stay in touch with friends.
Boys/girls will also meet someone and ask "what's your snap", which would be our old school version of asking a girl for a her number.
Then they send texts and talk back and forth, other times they just send snaps(pictures).
The pictures would be stupid and just their face or their room or their shoe or whatever they are up to.
And if you open a message or snap, you're supposed to send one back or else you're leaving them "on open" and it's considered rude.

As with all things, it's how you use it and who you are that matters most. If you got a good kid and they have decent friends, it's no issue of concern.

No, no, no. Not at all.

This is like a liberal thinking that all guns are only used for murder, neglecting hunting and target shooting entirely despite those being the overwhelming majority of it's use.

True but, nudes are better :flipoff2:

Kids don't, adults do.

Gal i was seeing 6 years ago used it to stay in touch with her sisters. She always took snaps of what we were eating some nights, and sent those to people. I'm like wtf. Why. But i didn't question her about it.

edit; her youngest sister was a snapchat whore though. She showed me several pics of her stickin her butt out (no face in those) and told me "look at her" i'm like ya, ok... then says "i'll never be like my sister" i'm thinking like ya, ok... but you fuck like a banshee.

My wife and some of her friends/family are the same. "phone eats first!"

Don't get me wrong, obviously not all adults are using it for sending nudes, but I do know with certainty that many do.

Her meal, 5 mini rolled tacos with a small sour cream blop, and a small guac pile.

My meal, a chimichanga (the size of a fuckin football) with cheese, pico, guac, sour cream, and enchi sauce drizzled all over the plate.

She's better looking than her younger sister but i did approve of looking at her lil sisters butt. :grinpimp:

Humboldt Middle School teacher turns herself in to face sexual abuse charges

HUMBOLDT, Iowa (KWWL) -- A Humboldt Middle School teacher turned herself in to authorities on Monday to face sexual abuse charges after a search warrant was issued for her arrest.

31-year-old Samantha Meyer-Davis of Rutland has been charged with third-degree sexual abuse and sexual exploitation by a school employee.

In September 2023, the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office was made aware of a potential sexual relationship between a teacher and a high school student. The student was under the age of 16 at the time, authorities say.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation also investigated the situation in October.

After turning herself in on Monday, Meyer-Davis posted a $15,000 cash bond and was subsequently released. Her first court appearance will be on Thursday, February 29.

A no-contact order was issued by a court between Meyer-Davis and the student.

the penalties have gotten steeper while surveillance has gotten heavier.

To think the rate has actually gone down would require me to draw the conclusion that in this modern age of filth that people are internally repulsed by it and actually resisting it and going the opposite way from all the influence of it. I would like to be able to accept that idea, but after observing so many people brainwashed to wear a mask and take the jab I really doubt it.

Is your point about conscience an intentional strawman, or just a red herring?

Penalties and surveillance. In the 70s fucking teenagers was frowned on more than prosecuted, and only military installations and banks had CCTV.
