Surpassed? I went to a HS of 1400 students and 3 of my teachers were known for dating students (one married a girl from my class) another female teacher lived with a female student. That’s just what oblivious me knew about. It’s not a new thing.

Maybe not a new thing, but the trajectory and frequency seems to have been increasing, year by year, month by month.

Chemistry teacher track coach gave his large chested track star uncomfortably thorough back rubs during class, so flagrant that I’m positive somebody said something to the school admin office at some point with no repercussions.

And the 20 something physics teacher was obviously boning one of my classmates; one Friday night we wound up in the same line at the local grocery store- me buying a 12 pack with my fake id and him 2 packs of rubbers and a bottle of boones farm presumably to go meet up with said girl. Once eye contact/ internal 'oh shits' were acknowledged, he says ‘I’ll forget this happened come Monday morning if you will’ and we went our separate ways. :laughing:

It was the soft ball coach\physics teacher at my high school.
If it was be 2020 he probably would have got caught, but 1998 was a lot easier to keep shit on the DL
 
We had a math teacher that was screwing a few seniors. He openly dated a recent graduate. Nobody cared.

Physics teacher from the grocery lane above showed up to the homecoming game the fall after our graduation with the boones farm chick as his date.

We were all pretty impressed/puzzled as to how one could openly display and less fucks given...

It was the non-tenured guy flaunting of it in the presence of other busy-body tenured/untouchable school faculty members, that was particularly fascinating.

Although it's coming back to me now that rumor (or maybe their direct claim) was that either one or both of these statutory gray area afficionados had a prior employment history with dupont/3m, and may have had patent royalty income rolling in for life.

But that really doesn't make much sense why you'd want to go teach upper middle class suburban public high school in that situation...{processing/head-scratching}... unless you wanted to live the Epstein Island fantasy camp lifestyle but without private jet money.... :idea:

Small school, class (by year, not by classroom size) sizes vary from 30-50 students. A few years after I graduated, so mid 90's, the economics teacher/wrestling coach got caught parked behind the bus barn banging his teenage babysitter/student. Her dad was another teacher in the school. He was already on a lot of dad's radars and left town immediately. As in he was moved out of his house within days and ended up 3 hours away. It was never investigated and he was allowed to resign so he could still teach.

Fast forward 30 years and a female physics teacher got busted for nude snaps getting sent around to students, same school. Other videos/pictures popped up of her banging former students. Since she was not sending any pics directly to current students, only to former students and they shared them, there was no case and she was able to resign.

This. 40 years ago the only cases anyone heard about was if it was local, now we hear about it no matter where it occurred.

Is your opinion that the rate of this happening has actually gone down, then?
 
I guess I disagree because I can't help but think that the overall tolerance of degeneracy in our society has grown to a point where everyone is constantly bombarded by filth and sexual promiscuity portrayed as acceptable and even in a positive light in many forms of media. That has to impact the psychology of our society at large, and if such, then it would stand to reason that more and more people would indulge in improper behavior more so than in the past.

To think the rate has actually gone down would require me to draw the conclusion that in this modern age of filth that people are internally repulsed by it and actually resisting it and going the opposite way from all the influence of it. I would like to be able to accept that idea, but after observing so many people brainwashed to wear a mask and take the jab I really doubt it.
 
I'd say the rate has gone up a long with the population. Same percentage, just more people.

There were several instances of teacher & student shenanigans through school. Hot female PE teacher that played for both teams and was rather horny apparently. A few male teachers that were known to bang senior girls as well. Whatever, people like sex so what are you gonna do? :laughing:
 
This was a thing before the internet and smart phones
I came from a very small school, and I knew if two
a male and a female, ironically the fittest/youngest teachers that were on staff
