Street Outlaws NPK season 6 WTF

These pricks are advertising season 7 now, who gives a fuck if you can't see the races?

They should fuck off on the TV and get 1320 or Cleetus outfit to stream the races.

The npk guys are saying it's going to air starting in April, so the s6 will be on TV while 7 is in production.

Still haven't seen any dates though.

Back before Rankin Rd was in the middle of suburbia hell.
Oh hell yeah many good memories of sketch shit out there, can't believe it's all built up and gone now. Still feel bad about peppering the guy behind me's honda one night with gravel as we all had to haul ass away from the cops who had just showed up.

Potential pyramid scheme sounds like to me...

Goobers aren’t gonna get confused or anything with that schedule. “Why are they showing Kye winning, I just saw Ryan win at the track yesterday.”:homer:

Most of the shows on TV are filmed a year or longer before they end up in television.

I remember riding in the bed of my buddy's Ranger, blasting through the field to get away from the cops at both ends of the "track."

I just watched part of a Cooper Bogetti podcast featuring Beaterbomb and they talked about NPK being canceled. So I guess it's over.....

Cooper had Jimmy Dale on his podcast in the last couple of weeks, definitely worth watching at least the parts where they are talking about Yellow Belly.... Its on my bucket list of 'dive' race tracks to hit for sure.:grinpimp:

April 12th & 13th is the Small Tire Gangster race weekend at Yellow Belly and I can't wait! Last year the Thursday "test and tune" was off the hook and ended up being a better show than the race itself.

Who's going with me???

The good Drag Racing shit is all on YouTube. SRC, Jimmy Dale, Tin Soldiers. Discovery got greedy and ruined the Street Outlaws brand Trying to milk every penny out of it.
Say it again for the people in the back!:grinpimp::beer:

I watch most of that as well, but I still enjoy the npk series. Despite the faked/forced drama.

I think it's mostly the production is better, they have the access to get cameras on cars, starting line shots etc.
I've watched some of the races shot from the stands on youtube but it's like the Zapruder film

Yellow belly sounds like a good time. Might see if I can't drive up for some of it.

Wife and I watched the first race of Season 7 @ Maple Grove tonight on YouTube Upshift channel. It's footage from the stands, not the best but not terrible.

There was no film crew to be seen anywhere. No camera booms, handhelds etc.

Swanstrom teased it's getting a make over and will be LIVE. I'm calling bullshit, I think the series is dead as far as TV goes. No idea if they try to take it streaming, only in person or what.

I couldn't help but notice there still isn't a s6 release either:confused:

Not sure how they can maintain those HUGE payouts without the TV show backing?

Murder Nova said something about Live Stream/PPV/Dana White starting at race 4. Also no points until then either.

How tf are they going to do this thing live? Isn't it like an entire day event for just the main race? With tons of dead time?

I'm sure as fuck not gunna be glued to my TV or whatever for 12 hrs?

Other drag race events are live streamed, really popular actually. The monetizing is going to be the interesting part.

I paid $10 to watch Sick Week and might do it again to watch Sick summer.

I don't think I'd pay $10 watch a NPK event though.

A new stream popped up with official looking banners and logos "Street Outlaws No Prep Kings" it has multicam video from several angles and the race master was speaking directly into the starting line cam during a oil down talking to Jeff Lutz, even reminded Lutz to face the camera.

The quality sucked (audio, stream etc.) similar to the problems Cleetus has had with his events.

Why is there 1/8th mile racing? Just because of the land or some shit?

"I went 3.xx...."

Well no shit, you're on half the track.

Seems gay as hell.

It's not really new but depends on the track. In the 80'-2000's all the local tracks where 1/8 mile. Only one 1/4 mile was Texas Motorplex in Ennis.

IMO it's like smaller Nascar tracks vs the big ones. Just have to set the car up differently.

If the hangup is 1/8 or 1/4 you are gonna be mad a lot.
