Sore Dick Deals

I am a bit confused with what model Vevor unit to buy. Like all their products , Their description doesn't exactly give all the details in plain English.

That's definitely an issue. I have bought a couple Vevor items and don't have any complaints about those items, but I've also held off on some things just because I can't quite figure out exactly what it was I was getting and whether it would suit my needs.

I've also seen recommendations to buy through Amazon instead of directly from Vevor because their returns suck if you have an issue.

I have bought directly from Vevor and also through various resellers on eBay, depending on while has the best price

Currently, I am wanting a mag drill and a laser level.

I've bought a bunch of Vevor stuff and the only thing I've had a problem with is a set of skid steer quick change latches and adapter plate. The plate was to big to work with any standard SSQA latches (even the ones they sent) - it'd just slide all over and could pull right out of the ones on my tractor. And then the latches where somehow to big to work with any of the attachments I have. The face wouldn't sit flat against the attachment plate and the pins would bottom out before the handles could latch. Took a bunch of back and forth of them telling me I'd have to pay to ship it back (which would have cost more than I paid for them) but eventually I sent them a link to a youtube vide I made of their plate on my tractor just sliding back and forth and also their latches on another attachment not being able to lock in. I told them I was going to post the link all over social media and the next response was "we're giving you a full refund as a courtesy". I mean, i didn't expect much for $140 for both pieces, but I expected them to at least latch to each other. 🤷‍♂️

half off on what looks like a decently complete socket set. I bit at $40 to keep in the daily vs the mismatch of stuff I have currently

Amazon.com

this finally arrived. I'm thoroughly impressed for $40, it's a nice kit. going to live in my daily with a pair of vise-grips and an adjustable or two and that'll be about all I carry

I had the character building experience of pulling my battery out of my daily 1/24th of a turn with a 13mm combo wrench the other day and had the thought "I really should put an actual socket set in this stupid thing".

Not shop and tool related but for everyone with powersport stuff. Motorsport has a bunch of stuff on big clearance. I picked up a set of STI HD9 beadlock wheels to put on my fourwheeler this morning for $43 each and free shipping.

Leaked 2024 Harbor Freight Black Friday Deals

A couple notes:

  • Inside Track Club Members get early access Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday - some items are sure to sell out early, so ITC membership may help you get a specific deal.
  • The "calendar" notes that Thursday (Thanksgiving Day) stores are closed and deals are online only. Fine print says offers are limited to in-stock while supplies last. I don't know how that applies to online orders.

really kicking myself for not getting to HF on that 10 day clearance sale thing to grab 2 of the smaller rolling tool chests. I've all but decided to add 2 small ones vs a big one or two to my garage for config flexibility. at $280 or whatever that wasn't too $$. at $400 i'll keep waiting

Those $100 Harbor freight mig welders are so tempting! I'd love to mount that to my RV.
I watched a few youtube videos on them, but I feel a lot of those people are fake, or dumb.
Anyone use one?

Borrowed the small green one from a friend and was actually impressed with it. I don’t know if I would weld a frame with it. But the non structural stuff went together well.

Can't speak to the HF welders, but I picked up a Bestarc 145 machine from Amazon for a light, portable machine. dual voltage, and does mig, lift tig, and arc. My only real complaint in limited use is that it only accepts 2# spools of wire. Currently $136 with Prime. I did order a longer mig gun for it from aliexpress, but have not yet installed it.
