Sore Dick Deals

attention Canadians.

$5 at princess auto. Buy 21 and they ship free!

I got some delivered today, and am happy with them. Found it strange that you can only stack them one way on the lids, then figured out that the box ridges aren't symmetrical.

Now why would they do that? Life's hard enough as it is.

Then I tried to nest some of them, and they only nest one way. If you flip them, then they stack without lids. Fucking cool! Great engineering, you don't lose anything by making them non-symmetrical, but you do gain something.

half off on what looks like a decently complete socket set. I bit at $40 to keep in the daily vs the mismatch of stuff I have currently

Looks like a good deal.
I saw a comment that the Sata tools look exactly like the GearWrench tools.

Thanks.

Needed to get some smaller bins to further organize my eclectic work space.

Harbor Freight is doing 40% off any Daytona floor jacks today. Screaming deal, or their jacks have been overpriced for years?

Either way, in store only, while supplies last.

You'll need the coupon.

As for deal or overpriced, I've used a few HF jacks over the years with two current ones - the Badland and a DAYTONA 3Ton Low-Profile Superduty Floor Jack with rapid pump. No complaints and the prices seem to be as good or less than comparable jacks.

Got excited for a minute thinking I was going to go pick up the off road jack for under $200.....then I realize it's branded as Badlands. :homer:

I reconfigured 6 of them for a shot on a show. It’s hard to believe they actually function with that much shit in them!

On top of that, out the 6 jacks there were 3 different pumps. One of the styles actually had U cup seals and was pretty clean with magnets inside!

i didn't get a chance to go to the store, but if I had I was probably going to grab 2 of these. cheaper than the 54"ish one they sell, and gives me more flexibility for setup. I'd like to get rid of my 46" top box and replace it with rollers.

maybe if this sale comes up again...

I snagged one with a 15% off coupon a couple months ago. I needed the storage and am glad I got it, definitely better than anything else in its price range of similar size, but I hate the drawer latches. I don't know why everyone doesn't just do the spring loaded handle latch that Montezuma and Masterforce use, it's been around long enough I can't imagine there's still a patent on it.

I have two of the old ones. I like the look of the new ones better, but like the drawer layout of the old ones more. The went from 8 drawers to 7 and effectively made the drawers deeper. They did the same with the top box - dropped one drawer and made them all deeper. I like more, shallow drawers for tooling and machine stuff. These were better than most machinist cabinets you could buy.

I picked up my 2nd set when they were clearance them for the series 3. I regret not buying another 1 or 2.

I agree, the series 2 rocked for tooling. I had 2 brand new ones I gave to a friend in need, I kinda wish I kept one. He’s a good friend so it should come back to me someday.

the daytona superduty jack is a great price even without a discount. definitely a good floor jack

The Daytona aluminum racing jack is far and away my favorite jack of all time. 1.5t is more than enough for most of what I do and super light.

Worth every penny.

Pretty good deal for taking the survey

Given Warn.com is about 30% over regular price, it comes to about a 10% off.

M8000 on Warn.com after 40% off - $755.00
M8000 on Amazon.com - $855.00

So still some savings but nothing super crazy offhand from looking.

can't vouch for the site, but according to posters on Arfcom, the codes work at a place called factor55.com. Supposed to select all products on the banner, then in the categories bar select warn winches. Couldn't tell you if the prices are competitive or not, but the site was mentioned several times in the Arfcom thread. YMMV,

Factor55 is owned by the same parent as Warn.

Less winch selection there, tried the coupon on that site, no-go for me.

I saw that there too, and it does indeed work on factor55, i placed an order, you just have to go through the warn site.
