Sore Dick Deals

I saw that there too, and it does indeed work on factor55, i placed an order, you just have to go through the warn site.
Are you saying it works on Factor55 stuff on Warn's site, or you need to start on Warn's site and somehow migrate over to Factor55 through Warn's site to get it to work?

Go on warns site, click the menu thingy, click explore arrow, click brands and select factor55

That super warn deal last christmas kinda soured me on the warn name. Never did get the controllers and such I was promised.

There was never a promise of a new controller. There was the initial rebate that went out in a prepaid card and then there was kind of a gift card that we thought we might get but not really. Everything I saw said that second card was meant for the people that bought at full price and got caught up in the recall, not the ones that bought them when they were on mega clearance. For me it would have just been a bonus to get the gift card.

With the code, you can get the wired remote for around $50....or just use your 2 wired remotes :flipoff2:

I bought two winches. Followed all the submittal guidelines and rules. I got NOTHING, no first card, no nothing. And absolutely no response from any inquiry I made. And I wasnt the only one who ended up with bupkiss. The deal sounded sketch, I took a chance on it and it didnt work out for me. I have two winches sitting on a shelf waiting until I have time to sort out the controller issue later. The part that bothered me the most was much the sale/rebate/giftcard/etc was advertised and how unstructured the actual submittal system ended up being. I personally believe warn did themselves a disservice with that campaign even if it moved a few more units that year.

Code works on the closeout stuff too, random selection of things but if you happen to need something there is good deals with the code

989 originally, after closeout 262, then to 157

Fasteners has the DeWalt version of the GRABO for $20 off ($250) the bare tool:

It seems to compare to the GRABO Pro, which is $300 for their tool and battery combo (or $332 if you want a hard shell case):

If it is something you'd use regularly and already have the DeWalt batteries, it's $50 off the GRABO version.

Ace Hardware has Milwaukee M12 3/8" D-Handle Crown Stapler (2447-20) + 2-Pack Milwaukee M12 RedLithium XC Lithium-Ion Battery (48-11-2412) on sale for $129 (price shown in cart). Select free store pickup where stock permits. Otherwise, scheduled delivery from store is free for Ace Rewards Members (free to join).
  • Note: Availability for pickup/delivery may vary by location. Under Promotions, click on 'Select Item', and then 'Select This Item' under the 2-Pack battery item. Alternatively, users may visit the 2-Pack Battery product page and choose a different tool to bundle. This offer is valid for online only for store pickup/delivery.
Other tools options include:
  • Milwaukee M12 1 gal Vertical Portable Hand-Held Air Compressor 120 psi 0.25 HP
  • Milwaukee M12 Cordless Rotary Tool Tool Only
  • Milwaukee M12 13 in. H X 6 in. D 3 speed Cordless Jobsite Fan
  • Milwaukee M12 FUEL 1/4 in. Cordless Brushless Impact Driver Tool Only
  • Milwaukee M12 RedLithium CP 2.5 Ah Lithium-Ion High Output High Capacity Battery Pack 1 pc

I tried it and couldn't get the pickup at my local store to work, but for $15 extra I could have it shipped to me. Played around with it a bit and found another store close by where I could pick up both items for free.

I have the DeWalt 20V/60V system tools, but have to admit that there are some Milwaukee M12 tools that could be handy. The downside is that this doesn't include a charger, so I'd have to pick that up as well.

It looks like the Milwaukee M12 Brushed Cordless Battery Operated Screwdriver Kit for $80 would be about the cheapest option for a charger, another battery, and tool.

Got the batts and air compressor. Pick up the compressor tomorrow, bars on Thursday! I had most of the other tools they listed.

FWIW - got this with the 3/8 ratchet thinking it'd be useless. I grab this thing for 80% of projects i'm doing around the house, instead of the drill / impact etc. its got just enough balls to drive a 3" deckmate if you want it to

Yeah, I was thinking an M12 ratchet would be one of the things I'd want. The DeWalt versions are just too big and clunky. At that point I'll use my air ratchet.

i've got the original / weak one. it's exactly what you expect. VERY nice to have for those shittier access areas so you're not doing 1/8 a turn at a time in a cramped area. definitely recommended. it won't replace ratchets, definitely won't replace an impact, but it's got a job and does it well

they're usually in one of the black friday / xmas home depot kits

My M12 3/8 ratchet is used sooo much. I bought another kit/deal that had it with the compressor and sold the other stuff that came with it just to have another one

That’s pretty good. I bought the tool itself a few months ago for $200, was a 2 pack for 400. I was going to get the mid torque with a battery for $220 I think but I may just get this instead

The $100 YesWelder Plasma Cutter consumables are a Prime Day Deal.

Still haven't unboxed the 55a plasma I bought this time last year.

Mostly because I still have a ton of consumables for the clapped out one I bought from the PBB vendor 15+ years ago and it still kinda works. :homer:

On the Vevor mag drills, make sure which drive type you get. I got one of them some time ago, and it has the Nitto "one touch" shank drive, instead of the more common (and less expensive) Weldon shank. I bought an adapter off amazon to convert from Nitto to Weldon for it. I haven't used it outside of trying it out, but it was a decent enough machine for the buy in and my needs.

the Vevor I got a while back has the weldon shank, runs pretty true. mine doesn't have variable speed though :-\ it works quite well for the occasional use that I do.

Good to hear good things about the Vevor mag drills.

I am half owner of a fein mag drill. And while it is a great drill, I want my own. I just can't justify the price of a name brand mag drill with how little I would use it.

I am a bit confused with what model Vevor unit to buy. Like all their products , Their description doesn't exactly give all the details in plain English.

I want a quick release and a drill chuck, but it appears that the quick release unit have the wrong but style. I want the common and less expensive but style.
