Sore Dick Deals

It came in a very plain envelope. Sent by

I could feel that there was a plastic card inside so I didn't just shred it. The card is gray and has a small activation sticker on it with a QR code. The letter reads "Your enclosed card contains $150.00" and had the usual "About your Visa Prepaid Card" jargon on it, with an offer to "shop now and get 5% back" at www.myprepaidcenter.com. Also has some language about activation on it, to secure it, etc.

I think I covered it. Extra details included for anyone else who thought it looked like a scam :lmao:

Buy a Lincoln Viking 3350 or 2450 Helmet and get a $75 rebate, a pair of MIG/Stick welding gloves, and a welding cap.

Got mine today. It was weird the enclosure didn't say who it was from, but at least the gift card had logos under the QR label.

Both of my visa $150 cards came last week. Anyone get the warn website $100 rebate code for loss of wireless function?
Nope-a-roni. I did get a spare wired remote without asking, so maybe someone at Warn had a biden moment and slammed one into the mail in hopes of making the issue go away.

That's what I was thinking. I'm not sure that anyone that got a winch with an already de-wireless remote was actually eligible for that rebate thing any way since most of us didn't know about the rebate when we bought and we also already knew we weren't getting the wireless function.
I think that rebate was originally intended to only be for those who originally bought the winch only for the wireless function to go away under recall. Warn just fucked up by not putting any kind of disclaimers or clarification on it.

When I called he specifically said that isn't the case and the $100 credit could be used to get the new replacement wireless remote on the winches i just bought. I listed the PN above. Idk:homer:

Did you ask him wtf they're sending us all new wired remotes?

Did he tell you when to expect the credit?

I got a dumb remote in the mail weeks ago.

I got a $150 card in the mail yesterday.

I checked my $100 rebate status today, and it says "Approved" "check not yet mailed-allow 8-10 weeks".

This still says "Out of stock". This afternoon, the Google preview of the link listed "In stock". Dunno why.

My friend called and they told him they sent our remotes to validate who bought a winch and who was getting a credit.(wtf?!?) He said it made no sense and they sent my friend 2 extra remotes when he only bought one winch. I have yet to get my extra remote but both of us did get the $150 gift card.

I managed to dig up my webid from my browser history and the tracking shows "approved" and "Check Has not Mailed Yet" so I guess they're still coming. :smokin:

I already have my card but was curious about the wireless $100 rebate and it now says this. I have a print out showing it as approved not yet mailed. I only bought one winch too.

I never filled out a 2nd one because the form looked exactly the same as the original one. The website said the link to that one was ONLY for warrantee stuff didn’t it?

Yup, called and they want you to leave a message so I e-mailed them disputing it. Kind of just tossing out a heads up for anyone else and see if anyone else got kicked back.
