Sore Dick Deals

Yep. Somewhere earlier there was a link to the recall "repair" where they just had you open up the original remote and cut out the battery. Pretty sure on the ones that shipped later they just opened up the boxes and swapped out the remotes. And they're supposed to be releasing a revised wireless remote so very likely they left the receiver in place.

And I found package near my back door last night. No clue how long it was there because I usually don't look unless I'm expecting something.

I wonder if they're sending these instead of the gift card that we may or may not have been eligible for.
Did you do anything to receive this? Did you use the credit from the site to order the wireless controller?

Getting back to the intent of this thread...

Ive been thinking about getting a digital battery tester for a while now. I have a load tester with an analog needle gauge but the digital testers will give you more information about the battery. I stumbled on a TOPDON BT200 Car Battery Tester on ebay that is eligible for their 20% new year coupon. After looking up several different reviews of it, it looks like a good budget tester so I bought it. I paid about $44 shipped with tax and it is listed on Amazon for $86.99

TOPDON BT200 Car Battery Tester 24V 12V Load Tester Charging System Analyzer | eBay and use code NEWYEARDEAL to get it down to about $41 shipped (+ tax). Coupon Only good through 1/7

That's not a wireless controller. It's another wired one that they're sending out to (apparently) everyone for some reason. I'm guessing it's related to the rebate where you're supposed to a get a gift card to the warn store in exchange for losing the wireless capability from the recall. I'm questioning if any of us actually qualified for the particular rebate or if it was only for those that received that bought the winch before the recall that were expecting it to be wireless. Anyone buying after the recall should have been aware that it was no longer wireless and likely why they were moving them so cheap.

I checked the rebate page today and it still says allow 8-10 weeks

Has anyone received confirmation Warn received the rebate information? I expected an email or something after filling out and submitting the info.

I'm still waiting. Think I got scammed. :flipoff2:

My last update said they should ship around Dec 13-20 (but that was a guess on his part).
Still no shipment.

My luck I'll probably be too late to claim the rebate...

Warn was being slow in shipping us all the pallets they promised. That said, I believe all backorders have been shipped and we have 40 or so of these units left on the shelf.

Where are you located? Up in the great white north?

You don't have to wait for the winch to claim the rebate. Use your e-receipt and file for the rebate. You have until the end of January to do so.

I submitted my warn rebate immediately after purchase back in Nov.. I dont want to miss the window on the rebate, but I have not been able to figure out how y'all are checking status. Does anyone have a link or something?

It’s posted somewhere in this thread…

Said it’ll take about 120 days for the rebate. Which is insane but not unusual.

I bet it coincides with the maximum amount of time most credit cards allow for a dispute. Most are 90 days, but depending on how the billing cycle lands vs. the purchase date, you could be right up there around 4 months.

Interesting point. Could be accurate. I might have to check tomorrow

I just spoke with Warn, GAYYYYY:flipoff2:

He looked up all my rebates as I didn't print screen them. Everything is approved and shipped. He said they have a replacement Bluetooth controller you can get with your $100 loss of wireless rebate. They are currently out of stock but should be available shortly. Warn P/N: 109470.

Just checked and mine is shipped too.
Otherwise
5.0 battery, charger and free saw, grinder or multi tool from tooltopia

Did the same order at 5am central. 6-8 week back order

As noted, put in the coupon code and click the $10 off coupon for the 5KW that I linked to. It looks like the code only works for the 5KW model.
I didn't go far enough into the Checkout screen :homer:.
Well we'll see how good it works for $64:lmao::homer::homer:

Nabbed one. Going to do the pelican case style build and have a portable unit for the tent or other trips. Thanks Chkn

Received the $150 GC in the mail today. Took a sec to confirm it wasn't some worthless CC offer.
