Ordered me a shirt and now I wanna see him in concert. His website shows him playing in Potosi, MO. in October.

We need a lot more folks taking a stand against outrageous ticket prices - usually caused by absurd price gouging "service fees" more so than the face value of the ticket. Ticketmaster/Live Nation is the fucking devil. It's a straight up monopoly.

There's a pending Federal case against Ticket Master right now finally.

I won't go see shit if tickets go through them. Last time I tried to buy tickets lawn seats were $60, added one to the cart and it was over $200 by the time I went to check out. Fuck that, saw the same band a year or two prior for like $20 or $30.

The venue's position is that they offered him 120k and those prices were "break even" for them.

I hope he's honest and the venue is just running damage control...

I haven't been to concert in 11 years.
Not interested in dealing with the people, traffic and sketch parking.

Edit...
I bought tickets to travis tritt in north ga a few yrs back. When it came time to go I realized I just didnt want to deal with all the bullshit and didnt go.

I forgot to mention the $40 beers and $10 hot dogs etc.

Whatever this guy does people are gonna bitch.

I hope he can ride a wave for awhile pile up some cash and then dissappear

I like Turnpike Troubadours. I’ve seen them and they were great.

So great I wanted to see them again. At that point they were huge.
The number of young, drunk people was full on staggering.
I’m 50 years old and damn near ended up in a fist fight trying to walk down the sidewalk.

As trendy is this guy is…. While I like the guy, fuck the crowd.

I’ll support him by buying the vinyl, but I’m not doing big venues.
And while the energy of live is awesome, the sound they make in the studio and therefore in my car or home system is so much better .
