What's new

Prepare for the "second wave" hoax. Fauci advocating federal mask mandate.

upper middle class in texas is like 24,000 a year. 🤣

Not quite, but so what? Without consideration of cost of living, gross pay is a dumb bar. I make $90k in the bay area... I live in a walk in closet. I make $90k in small town flyover country, im 3000ft heated with a pond in the front yard and a shop in the back.

we are. you know damn well the context of what i'm saying yet are playing coy. Its all part of the reverse troll.

no, you inserted yourself into a conversation. yes, i brought the conversation from one thread to another.

you also know damn well that your narrow view of education is false, despite it being common. so common and so narrow, that it is a problem that deserves to be countered.

if it were not common and damaging, we wouldn't be talking about it.

Pendejo; You claim to be a mensa level intellect. Riddle me this, if this virus is so damn bad why are the healthcare workers not being quarentined instead of being allowed to move about through the population, who are trying to kill them?

Ummmh. Freedom. :flipoff2:

You think they walk around unmasked? Go to parties? Or rallies?

How else do you get mass adoption to make PPE effective? all ears. I hate oppression and mandates as well.

through reality and truth and clarity, it breeds confidence.

when this all kicked off, the ACLU (of all fucking people) was filled with articles and references for how higher compliance typically results from suggestions and not from compulsion. of course, they had to purge themselves when their leaders made the switch.

if people are wearing bullshit bandanas that do nothing (proven/demonstrated) simply to be in compliance with the law, then they are not doing anything to reduce transmission than somebody not wearing a mask at all. the opposite happens, others see the covering and think "well, they are in compliance" and then are less cautious around coughing or distance or high risk persons. those people SHOULD be wearing effective PPE, and if they are wearing effective PPE, then whoever does not have a mask is not a threat to them.

support the end of the mandates, support the education campaign. that is how you get compliance without oppression.

We're hiring right now. Always hiring. Piece rate pay scale that goes up to 100% the 1st 3 years, potential to make upper middle class wage for the area- just depends on how hard one wants to work. We can't keep people.

The jobs are literally everywhere. The people are lazy.

100% This. So Fucking This^^^

Yea I think one of the biggest marketing misses of all time was trump not producing MAGA 2020 masks in bright red. his followers LOVE to show their support. never mind the money he could rake in from 70m masks sold at 39.95 each.

he did produce them and gave them out free to everybody entering his rallies

edit: trump was literally a parrot for fauci on the maskss

This right here. We run 2 new hire classes a week and have a 50% drop out rate still. Pay starts at $15 an hour and full benefits (awesome for this area from what they tell me)

$15/hr is shit no matter where in the country you live. I'd pay a neighborhood kid more than that to rake my leaves.

You do what Washington is doing. You pretty much leave the people alone in public. But you punish any business that is willing to engage in commerce with someone who will not comply. Fine them and then pull their license. With the threat of their livelihoods being destroyed By the government all but the strong will kneel. Its 100% tyranny.

Fuck anyone who supports this. :mad3:

Not true. There are many places in the US where $15/hr will carve out a decent life. Especially small towns in the midwest where you can buy a nice ranch house in town on a double lot for $125k. Will they be going to Cabo every year on vacation? Probably not. But can they live comfortably if they want to? Absolutely. Especially if you have two in the house making $15/hr.

15/hr isnt great. But where I live you can be ok on that and rat hole enough if you want to try and do something to “better” yourself. But I dont live in the city. In any real city $15/hr is entry level. But benefits put a big bump on that $$ wise, especially if they are good.
How much or what kind of “pay” someone needs is subjective to some degree. Yes money greatly simplifies certain things. But is also adds complications for some people as well.

To each their own I guess. I am not happy where I am at and am contemplating giving up $5-10/hr If necessary for something with benefits and consistency.

I'll agree to that. But people need to be forced to wear seatbelts.
It's a shit show with the bananas.

You realize that when it comes to your little 4 month old, this is NOT a super doober flu, but a very weak flu he has a 99.999999999999% chance to bounce off?
Additionally, do you realize that the REGULAR flu is more than 1,000 times more likely to kill your kid?

Please tell me you know this.

When it comes to my 4 month old, it's most likely the same as the flu, but more contagious- so easier for me to accidentally catch and bring home. There have been mild cases in babies and there have been serious cases in babies, so it's not really "fact" that the rona is going to be more mild than the regular flu (something I'd also rather our kid deal with when he's a bit older):

Basically it comes down to why roll the dice if I don't have to?

Good for you?

$15 for unskilled labor is on the high side. As someone mentioned, that's what most municipalities start out as.

Personally, I'm in the camp of fuck you I'm not getting out of bed for $15 an hour. Theres a bunch of stupid people who should be happy to get that. But the government pays just as much to stay home.

if masks had the same definitive level of impact that seatbelts do and the risk of covid case fatality was the same as the risk of vehicle accident fatality in which seatbelts are a factor, i'd be inclined to agree with you.

although i don't think seatbelt violations should be allowed to stand as a primary offense :flipoff2:

In rural NC it's pretty good for moving boxes in a warehouse thats mentally easy physically tough. Back in shit hole illinois suburbs warehouse jobs paid less than that with no benefits. Would I work for $15 an hour right now, no, but in this area you can own a house and have a decent life making that.

Well Pendijo. there is a TV commercial running locally a supposed weary Nurse sitting on a bench in scrubs and a mask hanging from her ear telling us that while she is in the hospital she is safe, because they wear masks and wash their hands, but when she leaves she has to worry about dying because all us heathens won't wear a mask. I say again if it is so bad why aren't they forted up in the hospital waiting for the population to die off so they can be the survivors who repopulate the world. That is the way it happens in all the best Zombi books! But then again I worked in a hospital and most of the nurses would have to be the last woman on earth for you to think about reproducing with her.

Also why can people riot, burn, loot, destroy cities without a mask on and not be causeing the spread, yet if you go to a peaceful political rally?

you're struggling. Its ok. maybe you should head down to the library to get an education. then come on back and we can discuss why a library isn't an education. oh wait you still wont have an education on it.

wasn't there a movie about this that launched the careers of a few (now famous) actors? :flipoff2:

LOL!! honestly if trump came out 100% in favor of national lock down and masks, I can pretty much guarantee we would be wide open sweden style as a country because MSM TDS:lmao:

not at all.

Don't think so? The left is now supportive of: never ending wars, corporatism, limits of free speech, science denial, evangelism (gender and racial based religion), and racism all ramped up to 1million since 2016. I stand by my assessment we are knee deep in clown world right now.

Remember when Trump shut down travel to and from China and he was xenophobic?

Then 1 month later he didn't shut down travel fast enough?

Pepperidge farm remembers. Pepperidge farms doesn't forget.
