Working. Assisting a contractor building facilities for the Navy and Airforce. I get to make two more trips here this year.

Pretty nice except for the military rigamarole embedded in everything. Requires significant hurdles cleared just to get on island.

At Vegas airport, just waited an hour for a few people to leave the bar so I could move all my shit over here and plug in a charger. Turns out it's not a real outlet, just a sticker. Even more of a kick in the balls because I just found out my flight is cancelled and I've got another 6 hours to hang here. Someone's an asshole, but I got a laugh out of it

Good thing it's Vegas as I'll just get the next drink to go and find an outlet anywhere else for a bit.

We pounded our beers and hauled ass to our gate to see the pilot and co-pilot on their phones trying to figure out WTF was going on. No plane at the gate. One of the flight attendants walked up, asked the gate people want was going on and said, "great take me off the flight" and left. I think we finally left 5 hours late and right as I had bought 2 more beers. I snuck one on the plane

You better believe I'm going to sneak as much as I can on board, my cancelled flight was in a first-class seat and I had to fight just to get Economy Plus on this one it's a red-eye that gets in at 5:44 AM local time in NJ so yes I will be self-medicating.

Bummer. I don't remember the name of the place, but there was a bartender training a guy on half the bar. As soon as he and the trainee went on break, the real bartender took over and actually got everyone drinks in a timely manner.

Last round I snuck on came from a kiosk that everyone was AMAZED at my old $50 bill. The bartender looked at the date and it was like 1990. All us old fucks were like "that's not old"
