What's new

Post a picture of where you are right now.

Lovely Damman , Saudi Arabia.

It's a shit hole.

0715 standing in front of the hotel. Hot as fuck and seems to be a sandstorm going on.

But like all places, ya just can't get away from some things.

Ever had Canes? Is it any good? Meant to stop when we were in Nevada, seemed like they wete everywhere, but the timing just didn't work out. My wife could live off chicken straps. If it's out of bounds good, I will make a point next time we are out that way or loom for one closer.

Canes is great. I eat at the one by my house all the time. It's not the processed chicken most places have. It's strips of breast meat.

Yes it is good. There are a few here in Sac now, and one in Manteca.

Future home of the Samsung semiconductor chip plant. The drill rigs are installing piles that the building foundations will sit on.
that entire thing is going to be a building?

wait. the building itself is 137 acres? how is that even possible?

I just can't comprehend a building with a foot print seven times my property size.

All the drills here are installing these.....

My buddy did something like that up here. They like compact the ground and stuff? Mix in material for all the footings? He drove quite aways, would spend a few days down there, then come back. Made it look like he was making good money with it too.

Hell our amazon fulfilment center here in Albuquerque is 2.5M ft^2

Ever heard of a place called "The Pentagon"? Thats 6.6M
I don't think we have those sized buildings up here.

I couldn't tell you where the nearest amazon building even is.

edit: none in Maine. one in NH a few hours away, but its in Nashua which technically is just northern MA. none in Vermont.

It's all engineered for soils vs building weight.

Most of Boston is fill and swamp land. Most buildings are set in deep piles.

googles tells me there's on in Nashua.

I can't search the largest building in NH. We have a 20 story building in Manchester which I've driven by I think once. But nothing on square footage.

I think the largest buildings in the area would be like that of a Walmart.
