I got a order of ammo delivered the other day. Saltech 7.62x51 NATO looks very nice. My .308 rifle isn't here so I cannot confirm accuracy, but on-line reviews say it's decent ammo.

I also got some Lake City SS109 green tip in ammo boxes. There is supposed to be 500 rounds in each, but one box obviously had more than the other two. So, I started counting (I know, I have too much time on my hands) thinking I got shorted. Turns out the three boxes had 510, 502 and 550 rounds. Got a 62 round bonus, I should go do two 30 round mag dumps just for fun.

Saltech is Swiss made ammo. I highly doubt they produce junk ammo for their military.

Yep. I’ve shot a lot of it. It is generally(in my opinion)more reliable than bulk pack Winchester trash. It isn’t the best smelling stuff when shooting it either.
