Sounds like me. I was going thru about the same before the scamdemic. I shoot nowhere close to what I used to. When I went back home to Ohio in September I did run thru about 3500 rounds of Aguila and Armscor 22. I don’t normally shoot cheap ammo but I couldn’t turn it down. My cousin and dad gave me the ammo.
 
I got into buying 22 slides for the centerfire stuff. It was a good decision.

I dont shoot near as much as pre-convid

Yeah, you can buy/build a shit ton of AR for close to a grand, but it's a decent savings for ending up with a BCM everything gun. I'll stick to buying their $50 blem uppers.

Combat Armory has been marking their blems down to $30 a lot lately. I picked up two a few weeks ago and built a cheap 9mm pistol out of one. No complaints and could only tell there was a finish issue on one of the two I bought. Finish is just a little light in one small spot where the end plate covers it anyway.

Well ill be pickled in sheep dip.

Fucker works pretty good.
What looks like 100y stump through the 3x9 is clear as day @ 1000m+ and i cant give a better est than that because i cant even seen the fucking thing nakkid eye and the range finder is only good to 650ish.

So for - $200 including a tripod and a window mount id say it was well worth it.
