People in my town were close to St. Helens when she popped. They said it felt like they were transported to Hell as warm ask started raining down on them. Many of them struggled with respiratory issues for decades and that was volcanic ash.
These are man made chemicals, at least one on lists as a chemical weapon in that silly Swiss treaty. Different and way worse set of circumstances. Aside from the massive uptick in cancers in the next several years at ground zero and downwind. The food contamination and the fact the Government is going to allow that food to be used, most likely, is going to be a whole other ripple. At a minimum they would allow that food in prisons, schools and any other government funded institution.

Don’t doubt me on this. Its now very clear they knew many of the severe side effects from rMNA before the required all their employees to get it. They are drunk on fantasy and will kill off anyone they deem will help further their cause.

This is the same government that during prohibition would find and poison liquor stashes to make the “criminals” sick or better yet die.

Well, yeah. But if it was a town full o' po black folk, it would be a lot different.
No it wouldn’t. The response after poisoning them might be different but they would have poisoned them just the same.
The big difference being pelosi and the crew might put on some African clothes and kneel for a few seconds. And maybe more this is Trumps fault. Otherwise probably same same.

lake will be fine.
all that shit goes to the mississippi
Oh really ? the idiots in Illinois has the river connected to great lakes, these fucks can't even keep the Asian carp out of it, what makes you think they will keep chemical run off out of it?

EPA just announced that they are not finding any traces of chemicals in any of the homes?

Just heard it on the radio. No links yet. Pretty sure the EPA said the same thing after 9/11

Yes they did. And also said the colorado river was safe to drink from after they, EPA, spilled a mining settling pond full of toxic shit in to the river. They even went on TV and made the local government official drink the water to demonstrate its safety. Not the epa official drink the water but I believe the state governor.

Not defending the EPA, but being the typical illinois retard that you are, the Asian carp can swim, and a chemical suspended in water is at the mercy of the flow of water.:flipoff2:

I guess you mean current, so everything is hunky dory, gotcha.

BTW skippy I'm from Texas, yup a native, not sure that helps me,lol.

snippet from our local news as the chemical plume in the river has made it to my area.

"
The U.S. EPA has been and will continue monitoring air purity in the East Palestine area. The latest air monitoring results provided by the U.S. EPA continue to show no presence of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the train crash.

The U.S. EPA reports that it is not detecting any airborne phosgene or mineral acids, which were chemicals of concern directly related to the controlled burn process. Because these substances have not been detected, and because emissions from the controlled release have dissipated, the U.S. EPA has stopped air monitoring for these two specific contaminants."

I guess someone should have told the train company. They said that they did not send representatives to the meetings last night because they were worried for their employees health.

So...its okay for the bro's to roll coal.

We all know deep down that the releasing of those chemicals into the air is bad and that it's going to effect many people's health in the long run but because the talking heads say "nothing to see here" everyone eats it up like it's gospel. They give no fucks about anybody life's but their own.

WAKE THE FUCK UP PEOPLE!!!!! :mad3:

Vinyl chloride exposed to fire causes hydrogen chloride.

Hydrogen chloride gas mixing with water causes hydrochloric acid.

Theres a giant cloud of hydrogen chloride floating around Ohio/Pennsylvania. The atmosphere is full of moisture.

Chemistry be hard. Herpa derp derp.

Agriculture in that area is properly fucked for a good long time.

All this about "vinyl chloride". It is volatile and it is going away rapidly. It is being neutralized by nature. It's not like radio active isotopes, lead, mercury or the chlorinated hydrocarbons. Forgot 95% of my chem and haz materials but the VC will be gone and over. Dont know about what else was released but the VC is not the forever doom shit.

Any current pics, today, of the death cloud or are we gonna look at the same bullshit over and over ?

again per local to me news

"The chemical plume of butyl acrylate in the Ohio River is currently located near Gallipolis, Ohio, and will be near Huntington, West Virginia, sometime tomorrow, according to Gov. Mike DeWine’s office.

Butyl acrylate’s water-solubility makes it harder to contain because it is absorbed by water (similar to sugar in water) instead of staying separate from water (similar to oil and water). For this reason, some butyl acrylate slipped beyond mitigation dams and booms and into the Ohio River. Aeration points have been added to further remove the butyl acrylate from the water, which has been effective in decreasing chemical levels."

Has anyone tried lighting the river on fire yet? That'll get rid of it.:flipoff2:

Is it me or did they wrap up the air testing a little quick? I would have thought they would have let it run for a few weeks.
From the EPA blurb:
So, the phosgene and mineral acids were the result of the chemicals being burned in the fire.
Fires are out, presumably the cars have been pumped/vacuumed out, presumeably any "retention ponds" have the liquid pumped out and they are now working on soil remediation.
As such, there so there is no new source of the phosgene or mineral acids, if its in the air, its going to move with the wind.
If the wind is blowing, it isn't going to be hanging around the crash site and since the crash site is not "producing" any new chemicals there is no reason to (in the words of the EPA) continue air monitoring for these two specific contaminants.

Most of the area was under a wind advisory yesterday. Gusts up to 40 mph.
