This is my guess as well. I know Deere offered high crop versions of 20 series tractors in the 60's and 70's, just from looking at parts/repair books. The pictures in those books made it look like maybe a 2' lift. The one above is obviously not factory with the chain drives, but probably some home brew version of a high crop.There is a class of tractors referred to as "high crop" or "high clearance" tractors. Think of modern day spray-coupe type stuff. That one seems excessive, but I'd guess it is along those lines.
