Shit part is, I tried to contact the company to let them know they have a trojan....no way to get a hold of them. "Leave a message"...except you can't. Same with emails.
 
Here's what I sent:

Your site has a trojan. Irate4x4 has a thread on your clearance sale and many people who have bought from your site have had their CC information stolen.

My virus software says the trojan is: JS/Spy.Banker.LQ trojan

Just letting you know so you can get it fixed.


Unfortunately, when you try and submit from their 'contact us' page....you get:

Good stuff. They announced the sale on their FB page also, I immediately saw a couple responses regarding their site being compromised. Interesting enough I don't see those comments any more. While most of us are getting our product (and JustDiffierentials/Summit don't seem to be having the same security issues), almost make it feel like the data being scraped at Nitro is by someone internally...

This shows 18 comments, but I can only see 6

 
Oh and JFYI....prices are creeping back up. D60 Excaliburs are $137.50 each now....and the 6 on 5.5 conversion for a D60 is back to full price at $505.

I didn't want to speculate...but I was thinking the same thing. Sounds internal and someone picking/choosing.
 
Stuffs been trickling in and I'm still waiting for some random things to ship still. Checked the new summit price adjust and its 4x more than what I just paid.
 
Yeah, prices on the D60 ujoints are back up to $300 each.

Showing $137 on the JD site now.

Everything I ordered I already have or is enroute now except the stud kits for the bearing caps.
 
I think they are wrong about the date....my security software showed a trojan all the way back at the beginning of this thread on July 20. If someone has a way of replying to that comment, I'd let them know they had the problem at least going back to 7/20.
 
Still haven't received all my parts...and emails go unanswered. I've been charged, so I guess I'll have to file a CC dispute if I don't get a hold of them tomorrow.
 
Yeah. A few days ago I sent an email about some of my stuff that hadn’t shown up yet. I did receive an email back that they were on backorder and expected in 2-3 weeks. Sucks, but I’m going to hold out a bit longer

Gonna ride it out I guess. Too good of deals to not let them try to honor them.
 
All the stuff I bought wasn't crucial, just a bunch of random everything. Still waiting on some yokes and x2 5.29 gear sets. I did receive 4 sets of 4.88 of different flavors

That's what I figured. I'm guessing those that had their orders outright canceled were ones after a certain cutoff, or maybe it was some random number generator shit. Dunno. For the deal it is I'm hoping they go forward with mine. I do think that maybe they prioritized some of their third party relationships to not piss them off as it does seem like many of the Summit orders just got backordered and not outright canceled...

This. Mine are from Just Differentials. I've received 2 of the 3.

I'm still waiting on mine too so hopefully the same goes for my order.

Last box I got the D60 joints were listed on the packing list but were not in there. I called and emailed them thinking I was shorted and they finally replied that they were a few weeks out so I'm hoping they still show up.

I'm also still waiting on my Ford/Dana bearing cap stud kits. Last communication they said they were "weeks out in transit" and didnt give a number. Paypal gives 180 days so I'm going to let it ride and hopefully get all my stuff.
 
I was waiting on my D44 lunchbox locker and 35spl 9" case with no communication for about 3 weeks, then got a shipping confirmation on the D44 locker and it arrived last week.
The 9" case is the same one that '84 Bronco ii is also still waiting on, so I suspect no foul play yet and I'm pretty sure it's just a backorder.

I'm just gonna wait it out.
 
i have not received 14 bolt pinion seals. i ordered a couple extras, like 3 bucks each they have not shown but the Excalibur ujoints did. so there is that

received a similar note stating Summit hadn't received confirmation from Nitro... Current estimate is still 10/26/2023.
 
I called them about my order.

Talked to Jordan who said they're closing a warehouse on the West coast and shipping the product to Georgia. Product will get shipped as it's received. I'm supposed to get an update on my parts tomorrow morning.

Sounds like they're spending all their time handling phone calls about when they will ship the parts.
 
I'm waiting on a couple yokes, ball joints and random small parts. For the stupid cheap prices I got, I'm cool with it
Everything else came in within a few days
 
Just got an email today canceling my order.

Yeah, and I just got an email saying Nitro Gear is having an up to 90% off sale for labor day....
