This was my experience as well. I was running ELockers front and rear, now I have a spool and a Zip Locker. I won't buy another Eaton product if I can help it.
 
Are the Auburns any better than Eaton?

I do like how the ected is an LSD when unlocked although I'd rather have a helical "true trac" style like the power wagons have.

I know a guy who’s way easier on parts than most and he’s broken one but I can’t give personal experience.

I can say multiple Eaton e lockers and an ox locker later im on ARB.

When the ECT-D or whatever they call it first came out....it didn't actually lock like a locker was the problem I saw. To be fair...that was years ago....maybe they've fixed it since then.

That's going to be harder to do.

You can cram clutches under a side gear or a toothed puck from a locker real easy.

A helical LSD has much more shit inside it competing for carrier real estate so you're gonna have a tough time fitting both its shit and locker shit without making components unacceptably small and weak.

Was eaton also the Elocker that unlocked in reverse?

I ran both. The old one that does that. I could break it within a few trips towards the end when I would rebuild it then ran harder and harder trails.

The direct acting one is much stronger and took a few years to break but still broke before a stock 35 spline shaft would break
 
So, finally got the last of my gears in through summit.
Not listing all the small parts (u-joints, crush sleeves, RG bolts, spindle nuts, etc. which totaled about 100) the final total is:
10 sets of gears mix of 5.29s and 5.71s (summit)
E-locker-7.5toy (JD)
Lock rite-d35 front (JD)
Lock rite-GM 10b (JD)
For ~1300 shipped

For the record I’m aware that tossing lockers in everything I just listed is likely a lesson in futility, but for the price was so cheap I figure to wheel all of it until the lockers shell or I get tired of replacing downstream parts out of my collection.
 
Still waiting on my D60 joints and main cap stud kits from my order on 8/1. I have tried calling and cant get passed the estimated wait time of 50 minutes BS. Ive tried emailing and have a "Ticket" number but they haven't responded to it at all and its been a week. I have received nothing from my 10/1 order either when everything was marked in stock and "ships in 2 days"

Uggh....gotta be frustrating. For the prices we're paying I guess it's worth the wait....provided you get the parts obviously....but I can see how this would leave a bad taste in our mouths and deter future purchases by people reading of our experiences. Bad way to run a business.
 
I'm still waiting on stuff from July as well unfortunately. Actually I sent another email on Saturday to bump a conversation I had with them back in August asking what the status of things are. No actual response yet, but I did receive a tracking number today for another part of the outstanding orders. Thankfully the stuff I'm waiting on are just spares I couldn't pass up so I'm in no rush, but dang.
 
Rest of my stuff arrived last week. Some 1410 D60 yokes and a couple of random seals.
They made good on it all, just took some time
 
Just got word my parts have not been shipped from the warehouse that closed. The "last" truck is now being loaded. Same story I got last time, except.....One of the knuckles is not available and they are not going to honor the sale price. If I want it, I have to pay full price. I'm supposed to get a refund for that knuckle.

Supposedly, the "last" transfer truck is going on the end of next week......Then it will be a couple weeks before my parts ship.

Well just got an email and refund from my order on Oct 1st of their October sale. The reason given was they were out of stock of their sale units but I can still buy them at regular price. So the first day of their sale they were out of everything in my order which I call major BS. I had ordered Superduty balljoints, D44 spindle bearing kit, D44 spindle nut kit, D44 Milemarker hubs, and a RH D60 Reid knuckle. One of these items is still on their site for the same sale price.

Did anyone get their Superduty Balljoints or Reid knuckles that they ordered during the October sale after Oct 1st? I fully expected them to cancel the knuckle but send the rest but they just cancelled my whole order.

Oh, and still waiting for a reply from them why my D60 joints haven't shown up after 2.5 months :mad3:

I got the gearset I ordered for my superduty 60, website said the package had the balljoint kits in it...nope. Called them, guy said he'd reach out to warehouse and get back to me same day...been a week. $50 for a whole axle worth of balljoints was a solid deal, I don't mind waiting a little bit but if they just cancel it'll be annoying.

Suppose they use some random number generator to decide who to cancel? Ordered D44 spindle nut kits x4 two weeks ago, got them this week.

My local Napa sells them for $75 a set if that tells me anything about their quality :homer:

I bought some a few months ago for my superburb, I hadn’t bought lockouts in years. I thought the box was empty when I picked it up :lmao:
20 years ago I thought they were decent.

That wouldn't surprise me. The 44 spindle nut kit is the one item from my order still advertised at the sale price but no, lets cancel this guys entire order! :shaking: Think I had 4 kits on order as well.

Thanks for the offer but I don't need them, I already have a few spare sets of other brands. The MM hubs were just too good of a deal to pass up while I was buying other stuff like you said.
 
I finally got around to checking everything against my order, the only outstanding items that weren't delivered or cancelled are 4 carrier main cap stud kits and a Dana 60 35 spline lunch box locker. This is from my original order I placed 7/25.
 
What was the deal with this sale, someone was closing down a warehouse? Why does JD keep having sales of 92% off if they already closed down the warehouse?

Well, they just cancelled these last items and refunded me, so I guess my order is complete now. Oh well, I didn't really need those things, so whatever.

Update on my order from August, the rep finally responded to my ticket and said they will ask the shipping department to ship out ASAP. Few days later now and no tracking.
 
Update: My D60 u-joints finally came in today after 4+ months :shaking:

Long story I wont get into, just glad they finally showed up after I forced the issue. I was also updated that my main cap stud kits have no ETA from the mfg so I will probably ask for that part of my order to be cancelled and refunded. Just an FYI for anyone still waiting on the main cap stud kits NP1816.

I hope they were packaged better than my gear sets...
 
I didn’t update when I got the parts. 4-5 weeks ago???

Anyway, everything except the right side king pin 60 knuckle showed up. Packaging was horrible but it all ended up on my driveway mostly still in the boxes.
