Nice pics of your pets

My dad and his pet bear 'Andy'

This would have been late 60s/early 70s.

We have always had big dogs. Talked the wife into this ankle biter since we have kids now and I didn't even want a dog. 10 pounds of Aussiedoodle anger and hate right here. She thinks she is 100 pounds. Took down the neighbors brittney last week by the collar. She is the most rowdy dog we have ever had. When she wants to play she want to play hard and bite hard.

Pre and post grooming. :lmao:

On Monday I was puttering around outside. My wife came outside with the kiddo and the dog to see what I was up to and let them play in the snow. The dog suddenly bolted up and over the hill and out onto the highway and in path of a passing semi. We heard the impact and when I got there she had been thrown onto the opposite shoulder, squealing and trying to get up. Her breathing was ragged and she was bleeding from both ends. I sat in snow with her on my lap and pet her, and waited for her to die. But she didn’t. After about 20 minutes of seeing her suffer we threw her in the pickup and headed towards town. Her breathing got worse and weaker along the way. At one I thought it had stopped. We turned around because I was sure she wouldn’t even last until we made it to the vet. We pulled back into the driveway and once again I sat with her and waited for her die. And she didn’t. After another half hour her breathing got stronger and she was trying to sit up. We headed to the vet again they gave her x-rays. She had a ruptured lung and shattered pelvis. The blood had been coming from a torn up mouth, broken teeth and torn up hide on her hip. They sent us to a different clinic where she’s been admitted since. The past three days they’ve been trying to get the lung to heal so she can have surgery to put her pelvis back together, but unfortunately it isn’t. Tomorrow she’ll have the damaged portion of the lung removed and hopefully she’ll be stable in time for scheduled surgery on her pelvis next week at Washington state university. It’s looking like her odds are pretty decent. Lucy is a tough and lucky dog.

Thanks. She’s not quite two years old and you couldn’t ask for a sweeter dog so she’s worth fighting for. I’m sorry about your dog.

Recently decided it would be a good idea to jump out the window of the moving car going ~30mph (presumably after some roadside geese)

Thankfully she's fine after some road rash and a trip to the vet for some $taples...

Greatest dog ever.

Always been an animal person (mostly field dogs/labs, I'm a hunter...), but since getting divorced and being stuck a commuter can only manage cats away from the house 8/10 hours a day...I still have Huey but spends most of his time at my folks...Cats indoor only.

Huey as a pup:

Easter Eggers also lay colored eggs.

They are pretty cool as well.

This is our Rooster, he is a Frizzel Chicken

Also super cool bird, if you hand raise them from babies they most of the time are easy to be around and you can pick them up.

Wife says he's a good looking boy.

In before the she likes your cock jokes. :flipoff2:

Got Lucy picked up from intensive care and drove her to the surgeon a couple hours away today. She’s already in amazing shape for being eight days removed from being hit by a semi.

Glad she's doing good! She looks like a sweet girl
