We have one station in town with. Def pump and yes it requires a second swipe. I need to find out who to call because they have one price on the sign and the truck pump price is always higher

Taxes, prollyI just finally used a pump that allows fuel and Def with one card swipe, can't imagine why that took so long for them to figure out. I'm sure some people have had problems swiping a card a 2nd time or 3rd time when the pump cuts you off at $100 (thank God that's changed also) then you need Def also.
Taxes, prolly
My 15 F-550 would go 4k on a full 5 gallon tank of DEF. Ford changed something.
The 6.7 ford's haven't had hardly any emissions issues to make us go that way.
DEF heater is about the most common failure I see and even then it's not that often. Occasional plugged EGR cooler.I never hear of Fords having emissions related issues. My service truck went 200k miles with zero emissions problems and that truck had a shit ton of idle hours on it.
I finally realized I don't need the turbo gauge, don't care about the boost... So I changed the turbo gauge to the DEF gauge and now I don't get surprisedMy 19 used a lot of DEF when I first got it, used truck. Must’ve just been really cleaning out the DPF from idle time or stop and go from the previous owner. Now it barely uses any. So I forget to look at the gauge until it matters then of course it makes me nervous it’s going to run in the middle of I95 Nevada chasing a race
I didn't have to check the DEF on my 05 service truck but I did have to put 2 long blocks in itI have never even checked the def level on my 05 Truck.
Do you gotta be fluent in foreskin to make that change?I finally realized I don't need the turbo gauge, don't care about the boost... So I changed the turbo gauge to the DEF gauge and now I don't get surprised
No if you have the digital(ish) dash it's just a change in the "truck" menu "gauges" tab.Do you gotta be fluent in foreskin to make that change?
They do shit like that because of company drivers like you putting DEF in the fuel tank and fuel in the DEF tank.I do to, fill up every day or every other.
And the fuckin DEF filler neck is on the
Ford drivers must be smart enoughThey do shit like that because of company drivers like you putting DEF in the fuel tank and fuel in the DEF tank.
If you have the smaller screen it looks like you can swap to the fancy screen if you end up seeing one laying around at work...Do you gotta be fluent in foreskin to make that change?

Anybody who DD a new diesel 3 or 4 miles to work is a fool. Hell, doing that in a car causes all kind of problems in those too.

Damn dude that blows. My dumbass dad did that the other day. Put DEF in the diesel tank. He didn't notice what he was doing, until it was going over 5 gallons. Then his dumbass figured it would be alright, it will dilute with the diesel and be fine. He made it about three blocks from the gas station when it shut off. Guess who has a very big bill replacing the fuel system. This is on a 2021 Denali 3500.
It happens just often enough that the dealerships use that to deny warranty claims all the time. CP4’s eating themselves is a known problem but even if it was just a run of the mill CP4 come apart. Dealership has to be the only one to work on it for it to be under warranty. They’ll say you put DEF in the diesel tank and deny the warranty. My dumbass dad did that the other day.
