What's new

New Ford Duallys are 6+ months out?

Placed the order for mine this morning. Awaiting more info from the dealer.
23 F350 4x4 FX4 Sport package (I wanted the really good headlights) 7.3, 3.73 factory gooseneck prep.
Decided on silver this time around.
Now we wait :grinpimp:

Good luck! Did you get the pro-power 2k generator?

I looked at that option, but just couldn't justify. Same with the Warn winch. 2 weeks ago it was $3k and as of this week, it is $3900.
Aside from the Lariat trim, I went with the Sport Package, GN, cab lights, inner fender liners and FX4.

Yeah that's crazy for a winch.
I really just wanted to see the propower setup installed.

i need to look at my single wheel and see what it is rated at. years ago they were rated higher than the dually set up.
What year? On most obs trucks the gcwr was determined by the engine, transmission, and gear ratio. So a single rear wheel truck in any given configuration was rated to tow a couple hundred pounds more just because it weighed a couple hundred pounds less.

Buddy of mine just picked up a used 21 F550 XL 7.3 4x4 with 11' service body no crane for $75k with only 300 miles on it. Traded in a 17 F350 SRW with service body and got $48k in trade and only paid $40k for it 3 years ago and I don't remember how many miles he put on it. I asked him to rub some of that luck off on me lol. Evidently some leasing company will buy setup and lease trucks out and this one the leasee backed out after the truck was built so they sent it to auction.

That was probably a smoking deal LoL.
Our little trucks (CV, F550) are over $180k now I hear.

We picked up a "new" 2019 F550 with a V10 in summer of 21 for $48k. 12 foot flatbed dump for our lumberyard.
It was sold to a dealer in California, repoed by Ford from the dealer (never titled), sold at Ford auction in Missouri to a local dealer where we bought it. Had 400 miles on it.
There's deals out there if you get lucky and find them.
Edit: been absolutely terrific truck for us. 28k trouble free miles.

Useless comparison pix.
1/2 cord wet wood with lower stableloads engaged.

You can see how far from the overloads it still is even though the truck is pretty level.

Are those cages over the hvacs on the roof to slow down thieves?
Yeah I assume so. Back when the great copper thievery was happening.
This sand :mr-t: owns a whole bunch of convience stores probably had trouble other places and just shot gunned the cages on all the properties he owned.

And this is how I'd order it (ball massagers, stereo scopic camera etc.)

Single cabs can only go up to a XLT trim. I just priced the same truck you did but ended up $75k for what I would need as a minimum. Only paid $79k for my 22

It looks like you can't get over a XLT In a single cab (or I can't figure it out on my phone)

Very low optioned with the HO 6.7

That price is up there hovering right around fucktarded for a limited option standard cab.

I'm going to drive my 97 F250 until that bitch snaps in half. Oh wait...... they don't do that. :lmao:

I have never saw plastic wrapped wood sold by the cord or 1/2 cord before....sharp lookin truck though
It's yuppy wood, $220 half cord on a pallet. I unload it with my service truck crane under the RV carport and ta-da I have my wood supply for the year :rainbow:

They used to deliver and stack for $250...
That was really privileged service LoL.

Thanks for the truck comment, by far the nicest one I've ever had..
