What's new

New Ford Duallys are 6+ months out?

Built the modern day equivalent of my current F250. XLT, 7.3L, 4x4, minimal options. I just cant fathom dropping $60k on its replacement. I'm poor :frown:

Wasting $4k on TT&L would make me sick.

I bet you could get that truck for $53k
Rates have already gone up another .75% from December.
Playing the woulda/shoulda game when is it too late to get in the fire out of the pan?

Is your current truck a 7.3 gas or diesel?

Is your modern-day equivalent a gas or diesel?

7.3 powerjoke (tune and built trans), why I built a 7.3 gas. Figured they pull 8k the same. You couldn't give me a 6.7L diesel.

I day dream about a new truck, it just doesn't fiscally make sense. I'm self employed, write off everything, it still doesn't pencil out.

I'd write a check, refuse to finance another vehicle in my lifetime.

My cousin got the 450 he ordered in February 2022 last Monday... It was built 9/28/22 so we are guessing it was waiting on chips in a field somewhere?

After 20+ years of Dodge/Ram Cummins duallys he says it is the best pulling truck he has ever owned, which makes sense because that is what made him order one in the first place, he rode in another buddies 450.

My cousin and his kids are big into rodeo shit, pulling large horse trailers all over hell and back.

I have not followed this at all but I have a ram truck 3500 work truck that is in for warranty work that is 72 weeks out for a

Can you imagine 1000 dollar truck/ insurance payments on a truck you cant use for a year and a half? I'd lose my mind.
I can because my service truck is my tool box and back when we ran maxx force 7's (6.4 power stroke) I almost starved to death because that piece of shit only ran 3 weeks a month :mad3:

So when do you pick it up from the dealer?

Ford just release the OKTB at the end of last week and they are on a 24/7 transport schedule now.

They have to clear out Kentucky Speedway and the other holding lots, so it should be within the month. Unless it's not.

In the meantime, I have to swap a new bed (it's in the pole barn) rear bumper (ordered it today) and tires (ready now) onto the 2016 Ram.

The dealer I ordered my truck from is sitting on 80+ 2022 SD trucks. They are the largest Ford dealer in GA and they take a lot of trucks from other dealers.
