Thinking about it. Short box 2wd might actually be getting close to that kinda mileage. Whats it got for gears?

I've thought about getting a 4wd version of that truck. Seems like a decent daily/"harsh" conditions kind of rig.

An 40k is kinda crazy, but money is worth about half what it was a few years back, so its only a 20k truck.

Donut media did that with a couple subarus.

Changed out a few things in the fuel system and tuned them for E85. Gained almost 100HP.
 
i still have not made up my mind on how to lower it, I'm thinking just the axle flip and go from there. the truck is a legit 23 to 24 mpg back and forth to work from Parker county to Dallas county on my commute. i towed my small trailer and it busted it back to 18/19 but i was taking back roads so not a real comparison.

I figure lowering it a bit should help those MPGs. Ill be interested to hear how much. So no supercharger until after you lower it and let us know the efficiency gains:flipoff2:

Let me know how you like it. I was looking at a blower for my 6.2 work truck and a pump gas friendly tune. Rousch makes one and Whipple makes the other im considering.
