Motortrend!

The EFI thing was funny, because Ford did sequential electronic multiport fuel injection back in 1986, but those Chevy guys don't want to talk about it.
Buick Grand National was SFI in 86

I got a laugh out of the episode of Bitchin' Rides with the LS swapped H1 Hummer. In the one scene, the dude working on the truck gets the help of 2 other guys to heave-ho the part time transfer case up into the truck for initial fitment.

In the following scene, the dude in the shop that looks like he could be a "little person" grabs the transfer case off the bench and bench presses it in all by himself.

The reply before the fail was...

I was only talking v8, as I don't really care about the rest of them : flipoff2:

Dunno when or if the 351 went sfi, the lightning was still batch in 1995.
The 460 was batch for.. a really a long time, except for CA emissions engines.

The 302 went sfi whenever they switched the truck platform to the HO firing order and everything else. Wanna say I was early to mid 90s.

Right lets not talk about the V6 that made more power than the V8s 🤣

Well.... 1994 CA 5.0 trucks/broncos got a MAF and SEFI, 5.8 CA rigs got it in 1995 (There are some rumors of 1994's...) Both 5.0 and 5.8 had it in 1996.

Well I don't know anything about gm fuel injection..I know even less about grand national anything... So it'd be stupid for me to argue about it or even bring it up... And I still don't care about the grand national.

Fyi, if nobody ventures out of chit chat, all the ultimate adventure episodes are up. Much, much better this year.

I hadn't talked to Harry Wagner in awhile so I shot him a text after seeing him in the UA footage. Asked about the beating the van took. He said " his (the drivers) boss told him that he didn't want to see a single photo of that van winching on the trail. The boss didn't have a problem with breaking or body damage but NO WINCHING!":laughing::smokin:

If that was the Quigley van, they beat the ever loving shit out of that this year!

And…another tunnel ram episode.

Single vs dual quad.

They’re looking at cylinder to cylinder distribution and Freiburger started talking about tuning sequential EFI for better distribution.

HRG had the tater truck on, looked like they hacked some shit together and then everything got “fixed” behind the scenes. They did some “off road” driving and didn’t look like they even locked the hubs. Was good to see them do something with a 4x4 but if it’s going to be what that ep was I would rather they not even bother.

I have a feeling I’ll be dropping MT in the future. All I watch is UA and DED.

All the other shows are just kind of meh.
Old episodes of DED and New episodes of Full Custom Garage, make the $25 a year worth it still.

The Tater Truck episode was horrible

I didn’t see friburger post about it which is odd being it’s his truck. The few comments I saw were mostly negative. One even was “its almost like you had a show that did 4x4 well and now you are replacing it with garbage.”

I didn’t even know what truck you were talking about till I saw an ad on Facebook. It did not make me want to watch the episode.

LOL. I read your post then saw the episode. When they first revealed the truck I thought you we’re just being picky. I was thinking, well it’s just the front clip and radiator. Ok, well and the exhaust. Then they pan underneath…🤣

Ya there might have been a little “behind the scenes.” 🤣

When did they get rid of all the old top gear episodes that was one of the best things about it, having all the old episodes in an east organized place. They really are pushing people away, I did laugh that ded is still listed as “much watch” series fuk motortrend.

I wasn't going to renew, but when finally doing my budget (two weeks late) I saw they charged me 49 fucking dollars. So I better watch some episodes before I call and complain.
