It will be into to see how it goes. Apparently he does all his own editing for his ytwhich has to be a full time job in itself. I like the revivals and that he includes his kids in a lot of what he does, the rest of it is the same as any other car show on motortrend or YouTube.

His work from home thing on motortrend was amazing. I think he put the Mazda on bags, was amazing watch him work.

The video about why his family moved to TN was where I heard how much he really has to work to get content out. It almost seemed to have spiraled out of control in a good way.

I hope they do well. I wish I knew where in TN they ended up. Looks really nice.
 
That article did mention a "fix up your house/garage/shop" show or series. Tha5 could be pretty cool.

As to "it was like hanging out with your buddies" that's exactly how my wife described it. She said listening to them was like listening to me and my friends being dumbasses doing the stuff we love to do.

Somewhere south of nashville it seems.

I think hes real close to having too many irons in the fire and its changed the content some, but I wouldnt say its for the worse, theres just less low/no budget content like when he first started

This is what I like about Dave. He's an offroad guy. But he's also a mini truck guy, classic car guy, etc.

Personally, I still love the offroad scene, but I also have a classic car and ride atv's/3 wheelers. Lowered and bagged stuff done right is just as cool as coil overs and links to me.

Its one of the main reasons I still love the "Full Custom Garage" show. I can appreciate all the fab and finish work that goes into the projects, even if its not something I am in to.

Because they are genuine , at least that's how I see it , which makes their show more better to me.

I have been blessed with knowing both Fred and Dave personally. They are the same people that you see on the screen in real life. Dave is super subdued and Fred’s a little extra. They are so much fun to be with.
 
I really hope Dave puts out some consistent content. I really enjoy watching him make awesome stuff with the most basic of tools and supplies. It amazes that he can do so much with so little.

I guess they used up one sawzall blade removing brand new OEM exhaust because they were too lazy to drop the spare tire.

yep

only reason i signed up and only show i watched was DED, it would be pretty fucking dumb not to cancel since i dont watch the other shows :laughing: actual cancel culture would be people trying to get motortrend shut down/canceled, saying were part of cancel culture because we dont want to pay for something we dont use is retarded and wrong

thats one of the reasons i liked the show so much, i dont have personal experience like you do but i got the same feeling that you experienced :smokin:
 
I was borderline on my subscription anyway. I really only watch DED. Roadkill and RK Garage are great, but don’t update enough. FourWheeler is fine, but far from great. I like Ian, but he’s been strapped down by MT. There is some cool stuff being done on other shows, but the fucking drama is sickening.

Subscription canceled.

Just tried to watch a bit of 4x4 garage about the Cherokee chief. Wow christian hazel is absolutely terrible in front of a camera.
