Land Rover Defender

I don't know dick about the luxury stuff but the explorers seem to be super reliable. Just a bit of advice from a non-Ford person who's owned quite a few Fords... one turns into more. You get her a 2021 Explorer, next year you'll have an 89 Bronco with worn out scissors front end that you don't even like but you'll buy it anyway.

I saw a early 90s TTB F250 in Arkansas the other day that had me thinking about that.
 
We have a 2017 yukon xl denali and it is a great family hauler!! The 6.2 is a beast when you want to lay into it and it is stupidly quiet inside, like a library quiet.

I'll take you for a 5min ride in my 97 TTB F250 and that thought will never cross your mind again. Shitty ride is a complete understatement to describe it. :laughing:

But I would never sell it, love my truck. Some day it will probably get an 05+ SD axle and suspension redo.

i have e70 x5 diesel that is deleted and tuned and it’s amazing. 400 hp 600tq and I average 25 mpg :smokin:

would love to try driving a X5M one day

It is ugly, very ugly. A notch up from an Aztec, maybe.

ive heard “people actually do that!?” A Lot! About a car bring a Christmas present.

interior is awesome. Ride is 100x better than a Jeep but it’s not smooth. It’s small and the St Bernard is not happy. Handles our icey, snowy, gravel winding hills roads fine. No engine light on day 3

Good luck. Parts are all but non existent and the dealers are robbing new ones to fix other new ones.
 
I certainly wouldn't want to own one out of warranty.

Expecting the VW to last 10 years is funny.
