Here is my 85 Xtra Cab. Cab is going away soon and replaced with some tube, along with a Turbo Propane swap and rework the front 3 link to lower it about 4 inches.

Trashed the cv joint last trip. Snagged one off Ebay. Waiting on High Desert to call me back so I can get a legit front shaft built, been running a square for 4 years, ready to lose the cv and run single joint on both ends of the front shaft. Keep the square as a spare.

Let's give this a shot. Good to see some familiar rigs and users. Here's my current projects - What's left of an '82 pickup known as Piggy (It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere build on the late PBB :flipoff2:) and my 2000 4Runner (Fiona or Project Fuki) that I got for $700 and am slowly building into a DD-able all-around wheeler.

I enjoy your wheeling vids on the youtubes, nice trail wheeling footage and good editing!

Engine let go as soon as I got back from UA. Just finished swapping out the motor with a new one and getting it broken in. Needs a little more power, I see a cam swap and a custom chip for the TBI in my future. Currently working on skinning the roof in aluminum and ditching the crappy bikini top. Got a million little things I’m planning to do. Other than that, just generally enjoying driving the shit out of it. It was even my daily for a couple weeks there.

I don’t post much. Mainly lurk. Getting ready to 3 link the front with a 609. For now though it’s wheeling season here in the southwest.

Guess I'll throw in the crap I'm building, or trying to build. Had an accident over a year ago, broke my back and injured my neck pretty severly, workers comp is doing a fine job of screwing me so the surgeries I desperately need keep getting put off and I'm just as hurt as the day it happened. So progress is slow, I just get to sit in the basement and stare at my junk, and search the web looking at other people build stuff and wheel.

Anyways some specs,
1987 2wd pickup, Dana 44 front 5.38 spool, taco 8.4 rear 5.29 spool, ruf's front, ford 52's rear, 38.5 tsl's on recentered hummer beadlocks. 22re turbo and propane, 5 speed and stock transfer case for now. Built on a less than ramen noodle budget, almost 4 years going, with a lot of parts I traded work for. Not anywhere near done but I hope to get it rolling soon, it's been over 10 years since I've wheeled and it's well overdue.
