By that vid, Gatekeeper looks to have opened up new lines since I last went thru:smokin: Looks like late last year. I didn't watch the rest.

cagcic as long as you can fit the gateposts was what I meant.

Yep, slowly getting all of my gear and rig in order.

Noticed the power steering fluid was a tiny bit low so I went to the parts house to get some. As I'm walking in I decide to go back and check the mileage written on the filter box top from my last oil change. Full synthetic is good to 15k right?:homer::lmao: Got that changed out. Also put the belly skid in the press and bent it back straight cause the trans pan was touching it.

Back to trying to figure out how I'm going to shove 10lbs of shit in a 5lb bag.

Mines been parked since last rubicon trip. I should probably stick my head underneath it but most likely wont untill the 17th
 
Alright guys I set up a Dropbox.

Username and password are in the PM thread. let me know if you don't see it. basically you will put all of your pictures and videos on there and I will post them in the album here.

There is 3TB of storage available so don't feel bad about putting as much on there as you would like.

I have a pm thread going , in the first go round I had closer to a dozen guys on 2 separate pm threads as the site only allows 6 per pm.
That said
richardskinner asked to stay in the pm thread although he cannot go, the other pm thread ,5 bailed from that one with Pyleit being the only one to sign up to go.

I have 5 participants of the 6 going in 1 pm, BUT
Richard, are you in for the conversation, that's fine.
Pyleit I cannot add you into the group pm, so if I fail to tag you into the pm thread like I did for the link to dropbox, I apologize. We should be transparent right here though...

I was coming loaded up Sunday afternoon and figured we're leaving rubicon Wednesday or Thursday. I'm rolling with the group decision but figured we stop in Tahoe to load everything up. Figured camp at meadow lake on the travel day and head into the trail the next morning.
 
Freshpond ( rendezvous point) has fuel ice, and such....
I put up a link at the forum..
 
I was moreso thinking between barret and the con.... but I dont know where barret is. Im fine on packing food and can bring some fuel cans but the bronco has a tiny tank and gets unbelievably bad mpg crawling.
 
Barrett to Fresh Pond to Con is a lot of road.
You can cut to Con directly from Barrett without going down to 50. Ice House has fuel so you could stop there for fuel, snacks, beverages. They even have a cafe/bar with sassy waitresses.
From Con to dice there's a fuck ton of options.
It is impressive how much fuel the Bronco uses.

Good point we will do that and you guys meet us at Wentworth and ellis/granite bowl camping spot turning left at mile marker 1 .? ( I talked to Jim about it. )
Like you're heading to postpile, we will be at the top overlooking the bowl...

I'm not really sure what you're asking. If you need to delete me from the PM to add another, do it.

On another note, I just got back from Sierra Trek working WH1. We drove down to 0.5 and then out committee. WH1 isn't too bad. Lower section has one boulder field but we got stuff down to YJs on spring under 35" through it.

WH2 isn't crazy. Plenty of bypasses on hard lines. I didn't make it up to meadow this year.

All road legal rigs, no green stickers, nobody has confirmed that they will trailer up to Eldorado.
Herding Cats here, I think 1' maybe 2 could trailer in tho....

You guys post a pic of yer rig so I can spot ya @freshpond please?
I know Jim and Cameron 's rigs...
