About as real as this.
About as real as this.
How big was the explosion in Texas a few years back at the fertilizer plant? This one...

Yep, wondering if he got knocked off or dove
Dove. Someone translated what he was yelling and it was basically telling the people he was with to jump in the water.
Do explosions above water have an impact under water? Something I never really thought about. I know sound goes 2.5x under water...
Read through that thread on reddit, there's a lot of debate on whether or not it's safer. I think the general consensus was that it's safer as long as the explosion source is out of the water.
I know this is two days old, sorry i'm behind, been a busy week dealing with possibly totalled boat from the hurricane, but that crater looks like whatever was on that ship did the worst of it, not in any building.
That large rectangular ship centered over the location of the future crater is a building
There's a ton of vids online showing the warehouse as it goes boom.I see that, but that morphing visual shows deeper water under the small ship beside the warehouse..the other footage i just quoted when i might have changed my mind, that's the warehouse. The morphing clip does make it look like that small red ship was the epicenter, that last pic i quoted looks like the warehouse blew.

Heres a few more pictures of the aftermath, I know its a ton of pictures but they are good quality.
Holymoly, was that boat tsunami'd up onto the dock?
Yeah it was docked right there in the water prior to the blast, surprised it didn't get obliterated
Slow-motion 4k video from near the blast:

It delivers.
Damn! Those windows being blown out of the building closest to the camera on the side facing away from the blast I truly am shocked the death toll isn't higher.
Back to the ship sitting off the water......how does that happen?
I still don't get it
How was it in the water? The waterline didn't drop dozens of feet so how did it get up on the land.
