Screw single point boring that. The rotary table can cut that bore in 45secs lol. Just about blew my nutsack out trying to lift that fucking thing on the table. God damn thing has to weigh 200lbs. I got pissed and put it on my hbm. Tried every cutter I owned, even digging through the dead bins. No go. Too much chatter too deep and slender. Fuck
Said screw it I tossed a coarse as fuck grinding stone on a cut off bolt and tossed it in a drill Chuck. Turned the old girl up as fast as she spins and holy cow that’s the ticket. That stone actually makes chips with no chatter
thanks. Can't use most of the stuff, but I ordered the hex key holders. Figure I can use them, and they've given me a fair amount of entertainment with youtube vids over the years
