It’s a like a internet messenger/video streaming app. Usually used for video game bs. I actually have come around and am starting to enjoy it.

All the jaw holders are drilled and tapped. Got 20 front bearing blocks cut and squared up. These things are gonna be a pita. The counter bore is gonna suck. I’m not gonna single point then. Thinking about tossing the rotary table in the bp and just using that and a endmill to make the counterbore.
My 5 hours of free time is used up for today. Need to get cleaned up to go to my sons basketball game. Need to leave at noon for a 2:00 game

Slabbing the front bearing blocks up in the band saw. Only cut 4 slightly too short trying to be a miser/ in too much of a hurry. I’ll use those for my shit .
My squaring setup lol.
All ready for holes and counterbores tomorrow.

We’ll see how good my memory is. I sent out the Amazon jaws I had for Austin’s Christmas present. Hopefully I didn’t drill and tap 26 jaw retainers in the wrong spot. I didn’t have any hesitation until the last one for jptbay. It had a different dimension than what I was doing for the 6”.

Got a good half day in today. Worked on the front bearing blocks.
Punched a through hole with a annular cutter.
Then once all the through holes were done, I drilled and counter bored for the 5/16 Allen head bolts.
I then churched them up a bit by chamfering the edges.
Once this step was completed the vise needed to come off the Bridgeport.
Pretty good piles of chips. Not bad for a low hp manual machine lol.
I made a centering jig for my rotary table.
I made it a slip fit. To give it just a touch of a interference fit i smacked it with a center punch in a few places .
I then started milling the bearing pocket. It takes like 5 times around to get it opened enough enough.
60 turns per rev 5 times per block 20 blocks that’s way to much turning for my ass.
Milwaukee to the rescue. I got 5 completely done, should be able to finish the rest up tomorrow night. My jaws should be here tues-wed, to verify I didn’t fuck up the bolt pattern. After that I’ll be working on sending shit out.
