Yep, this is a bad year so far to be driving on the lakes. Unless we swing hard back into real winter (and it stays there) you won't catch me pulling a truck onto a lake.

They chose the cheese option for heat-treatment. My one with better material and heat-treat is still straight after 15 years. Can't avoid stress risers with splines unfortunately.
