You’d think they make the shelves a little stronger than that

Dude woke up quick and scrambled

I can see the guy bringing down one section of shelving, but that chain reaction does not speak well of the shelves or how they were built.

they are strong if you put the right bolts in. probably used the cheapest money can buy. at my job they used grade 8 and it’ll stop a 12,000 lbs standup forklift dead in its tracks. Shit will be bent but there won’t be an avalanche of product falling.
 
The pallet racks we have at one of the trucking companies i work for are all dented to shit. Been hit multiple times. They seem to be a little bit thicker than what I am seeing there.

I’m thinking cheap bolts that sheared since all the pallet support coming down look straight plus the support post not being bolted as previously mentioned
 
I'll have to look to see if they are bolted. They put these big yellow "bumpers" on all the aisle corners in the entire warehouse. Those things take a beating but I guess thats there job
 
Good thing he wasn't flying an airplane, he might of knocked the whole thing down.
