got to thinking about that... "public perception of words" bullshit again (that political language kick I know some of you know I've been on lately)
it's silly but where in the days of white castle's naming it's now clown world opposite, 'black' is virtuous while 'white' is virtueless

Guess white cap (the supplier) is probably coming up for a rebrand pretty soon, along with a reversal of black hat/white hat in computer security shit

I'd be surprised if L S black isn't just a dudes name.

It's all dumb, black will be out of vogue soon enough and some other newspeak will arrive. Too many Africans for it to be African Americans, so it'll prolly be negro as a nod to the non English wording. :laughing:

In college, I had a buddy named Russell who was from Jamaica (cool guy, smart guy, incidentally not a stoner if you have your stereotyping hat on).

Some PC whygirl chastised me for referring to Russell as a "black guy". (:homer:)

I asked, "what should I call him?".

She said, "African American". And I stepped back & let Russell handle it.

Russell said, "that's mighty racist of you." (:laughing:) then proceeded to explain that he was not African and not American, so could she please just refer to him as "a black guy"?

She full-stop locked up trying to process data outside what she "knew" :lmao:

Right work, were already there. I've been told multiple times not to use master/slave in the it slave because it's not dei.... But I never remember wtf they want it called instead. It's not like my clients give a fuck:homer:

I've been catching a lot of news on these the last few days. Shit is starting to crack off over in the e.u. France is pulling no punches. Vids of the farmers spraying the fertilizer tanks in politicions homes windows, all sorts of stuff. Spain just started joining in recently. The Dutch are still on it.
