How do you kill the plant?

There isn't the will to do the things that would need to be done to stamp out the culture that produces the plant on any timetable that prevents it just growing back.

well 'the plant' to my mind would be human nature, and how we roll over for belly rubs from whatever authority shows up to manage our lives

so the only sensible option for fixing the problem in its entirety is a genetically engineered werewolf-hybrid future for humanity

Human nature is to behave like primitive hunter gatherers. That's what we evolved for. Everything else is taught. Heck, language is taught.

People mold themselves to what the group of people around them that they have to deal with wants, mostly. Or at least they don't generally do shit the group hates, at least not above the table, nor do they promote it unless they feel like they have some reason to believe they won't be struck down by the group (see for example all the closeted gays who were in the closet long after it became broadly socially acceptable to not be because their social circle was different).

The problem as I see it is that pretty much everybody exists in a social circle where ideas and values that create the bullshit we're in (and worse) is acceptable and considered normal.

For example look how victim hood went from sin to virtue over the last 20yr and the results of that. That kind of shit needs to be reversed.

You kid but I fully expect the Chinese or some group that DGAF about the morals of it to do that sort of shit then mop the floor with the west as soon as it's technologically viable.

Places live and die by single digit percentage changes in economic productivity. Imagine how much more effective a society that gives birth to a much higher fraction of people who'll pull their own weight and/or more would be.

if cash went away then cryptos would get a kick, aside from creating the secondary market in actual physical metals


got the feeling that maybe it isn't good to delay the overreach and collapse of clown world bullshit
they've already got their inch and their mile back last century, let them go far enough to garner actual public backlash rather than the typical conservative resistance to change making the small changes become permanent and cumulative.
