my dad had a rat terrier about 30 years ago. was supposed to be my little sister's dog but was really dad's dog. that dog got more mice than the cat.

We just unexpectedly lost our dane who just turned 4. Never have I been so upset over a damn animal in my life. They are most awesome dogs. Sorry man.Just found out my girl more than likely has bone cancer...gah damnit she is only 7!

Right there with ya. My little girl has cancer. She's doing good after her splenectomy but the cancer is still there. Been told 6 to 9 months. It really sucks.Just found out my girl more than likely has bone cancer...gah damnit she is only 7!

Damn all these cancer patients on here... my goodest boy hando from the top of page 2 had to be put down about 1 1/2 years after that pic was taken. He had cancer in his front knee, and all over his internal organs. He was only 90 lbs at that point. Seeing that pic really makes me miss himHe was only 9

A Good friend had a couple of em. Biggest dogs ive ever been around, but Easily the most gentle. Almost like they asked permission to be in your space. They dont stay long enough.

FWIW since I have no experience with them, If I ever get another Dane I was planning to try these guys: Great Danes | DeLand, FL - Calypso Danes
Everyone cross your finger for me, dropped my Dane off at lunch for a specialist to shove a 14ga needle in her bone...Praying they don't find cancer cells, but x-ray images don't lie.
