It does seem as if prophecy has been going on for a long time, but I cannot deny that things have ramped up very quickly in the last 20 years
 
There will be no rapture IMO.

The souls on Earth are burdened with claiming allegiance to Christ and battling evil wherever it may rise.
 
God says there will be a rapture. I will take his word on it...

This. The timing of the Rapture may be up for debate, but the Bible is very clear:

Matthew 24:31
And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet blast, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

Funny thing is… there’s truth to fairy tales…. Why do you think they are told for hundreds/thousands of years???? Where do you think those fairy tales came from???
Even if you don’t believe that, oldest book/bible of “fairy tales” has truth in it!!!!

I am all for questioning... ANYTHING. So I welcome any logical and sensible debate.

You are right in saying many stories have been passed down. I agree. So what do we do with the stories from almost every old culture about a massive, global in most cases, flood? Should we just dismiss it? Or all the evidence in our natural world that shows us?

Floods happen, doesn't mean there is/was a "higher power" involved.

Edit: Wouldn't the world flood if we got into a hot age and the polar caps and all the other ice/snow in the world melted, how do we know that's not what happened?

Nope. Not if you believe the six thousand year time line. It is virtually impossible that the kind of world wide flood the Bible depicts could have occurred that recently. The Earth's surface would be dramatically different if it had. Not to mention, there's not enough water in any form on the planet to produce a flood of that magnitude.

Ever heard of the polar shift theory? They say if and when it happens, it would take more than a month for the seas to calm down. (40 days)

I have a book on my shelf written by a Dr. Walt Brown that begs to differ. He describes, in detail, the Hydroplate Theory and how, exactly the flood described in Genesis could have happened, and how the evidence of that flood is all around us. I am well read on this subject; however, this is off topic for the thread. I would be happy to talk about this in another thread.

Same logic applies. IF it's ever even happened, of course. That much water coursing over the surface of the Earth Fucks. Shit. Up. Hard. Read about the Masoula Floods sometime. Water gouged out huge chunks of volcanic rock. That was between 13 and 15 thousand years ago. If that shit happened globally, the entire planet would be scarred as fuck.
