The so called head ATF guy in DFW was on the radio talking about it and didn't even sound like he knew exactly what they were or how they were made but kept saying over and over that they were going to track down the people and 3D printers making them. I'm thinking anybody in the DFW area that owns a legal gun and has a 3D printer is a suspect the way that fool was talking because we both know they don't actually know shit and are hoping for "anonymous tips" to get anything done.

DFW peeps...... Sorry in advance to hear about your dogs getting shot.

The problem was it let the atf create a law. Agencies don't have that authority.
Congress didn't ban bumpstocks the atf did at the direction of the president, who also doesn't have the authority to pass laws.
The court made the right and obvious decision, but it took 7 years to go through the process.

Yep which should have never happened in the 1st place. And we got nothing but a waste of time doing the court dance. I maybe could have been okay with "the ban" if we got something substantive in trade off but nope. We got nothing.

Sorta the same thing on land use, huge opportunity to make some changes but nope we got nothing.

I wonder how many people would know they even existed, if the ATF wasn’t running ads on Facebook to sell that kind of stuff.

I see a lot of about Thomas and Alito in the random news feed that shows up on my phone. They're trying as hard as they can to push one of them out so Biden can get a nomination before November.

This. Why didn’t they make Red Flag laws illegal in return for bump stocks? When is the red flag laws going before the Supreme Court? Definitely unconstitutional.

I’ve said it before, why don’t any law concerning a “Right” be stalled until it gets past all appeals?
 
That price is high as giraffe pussy, and they gotta make ‘em first. Let the first wave buyers stock up on them. If you wait a while (and you even want one) I bet you can get them for 1/3 of that in a year or two. Those things were selling for $50 bucks at cabellas before the Vegas bull shit and subsequent constitutional infringement… I mean ban.

I had a bumpfire llc ar stock and a slide fire saiga stock. I paid $100 each from the manufacturers.

“Had”. ??? And now have to replace? Because you are a good citizen who obeys the laws as they change. I also abstained from bump firing anything these last few years pending the FPC lawsuit.

I hope that ol hundred dollar one finds its way back into your collection. It would suck to have to pay more for one a second time after your rights were infringed on for a few years.

I can bump fire my ar 9mm without the stock and am decently accurate like that.

A hand full of us from the old place went to SHOT and I brought my S12 SBS, not a single person wasn't grinning when they were done.
My 12" VEPR12 SBS is really easy to bump fire

SBS or not those are just a lot of fun
