Trump implemented the ban to appease a bunch of assholes who hate him. It was a stupid idea, but I still voted voted for him and will again, I just hope he learned his lesson.

I understand the frustration...I really do. We have to remember they were going after a complete AW ban and likely would have gotten it.

Throwing them a shit bone sucked, granted, but it took all their momentum away. That and we knew it'd be overturned and I think he thought he'd have the 2nd term and could have reversed it.

Now that's just my opinion but no one....no one with two brain cells thought Biden was going to "win".

And you're leaving out that if not for him, they would have packed the court and got the complete AW ban they're wanting. Like it or not, his appointments to the bench saved a shit ton of 2nd amendment rights.

No way an AW ban would have been implemented. It's doubtful it would have passed congress and even if it did nowhere near the votes to override a veto. Trump caved, pure and simple.

Curious to know as well. They at least aren’t out the 200 bucks for the tax stamp, but I wonder if the gov will simply purge them from the registry or what. Or rather, tell everyone they’ve been purged, but we all know they’ll keep those records in a nice fancy searchable database…

If you can separate the two sets of actions, I sincerely hope you appreciate all the judges the bad orange man installed :confused:

That & the African American guy unlocking free speech on a social media platform I don't use are two of the most encouraging moves towards societal sanity I've seen happen in the last decade.

Not at all trying to minimize Trump's fuckups on gun stuff, but give credit where credit is due - bad and good :usa:

I have zero issues with the judges. But you said it yourself. They are completely separate things. He absolutely did not install those judges for second amendments sake and if you think anyone who said what he said did it for that you are kidding yourself. He just hoped they would support his other things he wanted to do and anything that worked out for us on the 2a front is a happy coincidence.

No, that’s more of a trademark law thing. This is the basic entity. For example, if it was a shock absorber, it would say shock absorber. Not Monroe or King it could also say hydraulic damper
