I have a 10k gvw trailer that I picked up that both axle tubes are dented in from bottoming on the frame and the tires are leaning in at the top. Trailer clearly saw a lot of BDL's before they retired it.
 
Dad sold his Pettibone a few weeks ago, dude finally came to retrieve it. I probably would have set it a little more over the axles but meh, not too dumb compared to most of the other shit on the roads around here.

Not me. Wouldn't be surprised if that's what dad is doing all night tonight though.

My buddy was whining that he never got to drive the Petti. Sent him the pics and told him to go over there and buy it and the trailer off the dude for cheap. We'll see what happens. :laughing:

Why load it like that at all, park the forks on the deck, and center the weight over the axles and be on your way. what am I missing?

What stands did you get and how much?
People always bagged on HF stands saying you'll die for sure but I'm hearing more and more positive things over last few years.

To be fair. People always bagged on HF ANYTHING.
Stands weren't a stand-out until they were all recalled a few years ago.

All that stuff is my brothers. They had a parking lot sale and he's out of town, so I picked it up for him. They had the 3 ton stands for $28 I think. and the Aluminum jack had a deal where you got a set of aluminum stands for like $20 if you bought it. It was also on sale for $80.

The Tires are Interco blems.
