The observation is that if you change the state of either on of two entangled particles, the other instantaneously changes to the same state regardless of how far away they are. The phenomenon has been proven experimentally.

Wow, if we could tame that there is no end to what we could achieve. Imagine changing your water pump without being there.

Yes, but what I don't get is how do you entangle two particles without accidentally entangling the wrong particle nearby?
 
Then you have the double slit experiment showing that light can both function as a particle and a wave. There's the problem of gravity. Like WTF is gravity? I mean, we know that it's an attraction force between two I objects and we know how to measure it as a function of mass and distance but we don't know why it exists.

There are plenty of mysteries left in physics. I don't think we're anywhere close to having it all figured out yet.

If the alien tech is so advanced that they can get here on a smaller surface craft why would it crash? Why would they leave it behind? What would such an advanced society have to gain from us? Do we really think we are so special that aliens would have any value in our primitive knowledge? If aliens have made it here, wouldn't they consider our society and species no different than how we feel about ants or cattle or enslaved animals?

A long time ago I read about how the experiments were done. Suffice it to say that much cleverness is nvolved.

You are excavating deposits developed from erosional patterns. Essentially, it is all particles from somewhere upstream (at the time of the deposition, may not be now). Particles are broken, smoothed and changed during transport. Heavier/larger particles dropped out somewhere else, the particles in your area will be of similar relative size, supposing similar point of origin. Larger stuff may have fallen in the water transport closer by. Now, that said, it is possible that a vein of metallics or heat modified ores could have been pulled out of a mountain, bounced downstream, slowly eroded, and pieces of the size you are finding ended up in your deposit. Lol I know how and why the stuff is located in my gravel deposit. I have the glacial maps of our area. I got 1000’s of hours figuring this stuff out and if I can make money on it.

These little bb’s have stumped me. Glaciers are one of the best meteorite concentrators. Our pits are located on what are called glacial blowouts. The forties to the east of ours are where the face of the glacier stopped. As it was melting it created a huge lake behind the face. The water blew a hole in the glacier right where we mine. This made a huge fan of clean sand and concentrated amounts of stone.

This is where all the heavies fell out in the rocky sluices. Now back to the silver bb’s. When shot with our xrf gun it shows they are an iron chromium moleydium nickle with trace amounts of ag pt pd hg elements. I’m kinda skeptical of the xrf gun.

These bb’s are like it’s a stainless steel hence the it’s man made from the electron microscope guys. As for them being weathered round yeah no way. You hit one on the bench with a maul the hard little fucker gets smashed into the 1045 plate in the bench.

They are stupid. :lmao:

The best analogy I have heard is that we are the uncontacted tribal people on Sentinal island and they are modern society. We know about them, they have had extremely limited interactions with us. If we observed that they had somehow constructed a technology that would be the end of their existence, we might step in and attempt to correct their course.

Makes sense to me.

The Sentinalese probably think that we represent "other intelligent life". Meanwhile they're still living in the stone age. That's us sitting around talking about if there's "other intelligent life" out there. :laughing:

The meteorites land on top of the ice sheet. They get moved to the end where the ice finally melts and then fall straight down because they are heavy. With how slow glaciers are they have lot s and lots of time to catch to collect and concentrate them.

Part of me thinks this has happened numerous times throughout history. The smartest, highest-class individuals, you know, the ones primarily responsible for the greatest advancements in society, get taken away by aliens, leaving behind the dumbest, most worthless idiots to basically rebuild and relearn everything lost by those that left, which could explain why so much technology and so many civilizations through the ages have been lost, with only the most basic historical records kept.

I'm a geologist and those things have me stumped from where I sit. My theory is they are meteorites and they they have a rounded appearance because glaciers are wicked. Nothing comes out of a glacier with a corner on it. When I was in graduate school, random people would always bring us stuff to test to find out what they were.

My recommendation is to send a few to your local big university geoscience department and have them run it under the scanning electron microscope or whatever equipment they have. They'll likely do it for free or slip a grad student a case of beer.


As far as aliens go, there absolutely is intelligent life all over the universe. So intelligent and different than us that they don't need to come here at all. If they know we exist, they can likely "look" from wherever they are at, see we don't have the resources they need, and then look somewhere else. Carbon based, water and oxygen dependent life can't spread across the universe from a single source. It will require a different form of life which can be sustained in a vastly different way we don't understand yet.

Well that can be argued. Just got fired from one of the block plants because my sand was not round enough:mad3:. The plant mixes a dry concrete and uses a big vibrator to turn it into the block. My sand was not filling the voids like the river sands were. The blocks were having low breaks so I got fired:mad3:. They can get 6 more pounds of material in each block with the river sand vs my glacial till sand.

There have been spotted all over the place, the first place was germany, A few years ago one was spotted in NJ.

They have been around for at least 10 years. I think they will hold out as long as possible to reveal them.

I bet this was when they crashed the first one. This whole deal was super fishy.
