Im still waiting on the riots to hit suburbia like was promised to witness the main event. And I dont mean some dude and his wife standing in their doorway waving guns around. I mean people sniping from their daughters bedroom window to stop a peaceful rioter from burning their house down with a molotov cocktail.

Officer Chauvin, when you were trained in that technique were you trained to use it for a prolonged amount of time?

Officer Chauvin, was he complaining exclaiming he could not breath?

Officer Chauvin, in the last 5 minutes of that encounter did you feel him go limp?

Officer Chauvin, in that video we can clearly see your foot floating on the ground, what was your training?

Officer Chauvin was there any bystanders indicating or alerting you that the suspect showed signs of not being able to breath?

Officer Chauvin, we have a copy of the training manual here, can you show us in the manual where it says the this technique can be used for detaining a suspect for an extended amount of time?

He’s in custody. He is detained. The fight is over. Throw a spit bag over his head if you need to. Or pick up on the cuffs (he’s in a full Nelson).

You can chase a dog raper through town at 100+ miles an hour, but once he’s caught & in custody, the shit before is up to the courts to deal with, not some cop with hurt feelings.

There are some people who do some heinous shit, watch what happens when they get arrested. They put the cuffs on them and take them to jail. They don’t stomp on their neck for damn near 10 minutes.

i’ve seen people arrested too many times to count, I’ve seen people fight, I’ve seen people run, when the cuffs go on for all practical purposes the fight is over.

edit: And I go as far as to The video of what happened before the cuff go on is irrelevant and probably should be excluded from court. Because that part of the encounter was over and in the past.

He was already overdosed at that point and he was already off his rocker. The cops had him detained and didn't provide care. Murder? No. Negligence, yes.

Is it negligence if we think the cops' duty is to serve and protect? Yup.

no, its really not.

chauvin is the model cop that lawmakers want. They don't want cops that give a shit, they don't want cops that use discretion, nor cops that utilize a strict internal moral code.

they want bots with guns to prod the herding masses along.

And, that's the point. None of this would have even made the national news if there wasn't a video of a cop kneeling on a handcuffed man's neck as he expired. All he had to do was get up and let the man expire naturally (due to the drugs) and we would have never heard about it. That knee on the man's neck cost the city and tax payers (and probably insurance) immensely.

The fact that it was a black man and a white cop made it that much more appealing.

and ill be damned if it didn't happen at the most opportune time, as well. Bout the time you started seeing a bunch of lockdown protests and some shitbag supercop kneels on a black dudes neck. Convienient for those in power wanting to shift the focus and steer the national narrative.
