At north end of the fire, I'm not getting any wind. Earlier, I was getting a wind blowing northward. OTOH, I've got a mild hill on the east to force it that way.How is the wind up there? It picked up around 1400 for a little while, now it’s settled down to 10mph out of the south west.
I can’t remember where you’re at, but I’ve got plenty of space in Greenwood for trailers and can make room for animals and livestock.Fuck! Here I go again....
Crozier Fire, 1.3 miles from me
That as what I mean. It’s a clusterNot fully. They could be more aggressive for sure but Around here and other local area timber sales have been held up in court for years. Hard to manage when your timber sales plans gets stuck in court for 10 years.

Im afraid that since they didn’t get it handled today, it’s probably gonna be more than a few days before repopulation.Got the following email:

The mandatory irks me to no end because if I head out to work or dr apt, I'm locked out Still debating how to deal with my 'day off' tomorrow... shuffling a fuck ton of pets or seeing about getting a day off Friday for this to blow over
I found it a bit odd that I was getting updated orders for the last 30-40 minutes and WD didn't update as I scratched my head.yup
just updated 2 miutes ago
There has been a significant expansion of the evacuation order area & it now extends to the greater portion of the Garden Valley, Georgetown, Volcanoville, Mosquito and Quintette areas per El Dorado County Sheriff's. Refer to the evacuation map.
cameras show the smoke column a little lower which is good, but the humidity here at 8pm is still single digits
That is somewhat my concern. Shuffling two dogs, eight kittens, and an old cat that hates them all to a 700 square-foot house 40 mins away makes for a challengeIm afraid that since they didn’t get it handled today, it’s probably gonna be more than a few days before repopulation.
evac orders are moving north and west (fire is moving north I think)
3 ways out, of which 2 are paved. The dirt one is the wrong way now anyway as it heads into the fireOne way in, one way out, correct?
Haven’t been there in years.
Don’t wait too long, keep an eye on the wind. Hopefully you have neighbors with planes ready to go.
