Not fully. They could be more aggressive for sure but Around here and other local area timber sales have been held up in court for years. Hard to manage when your timber sales plans gets stuck in court for 10 years.
That as what I mean. It’s a cluster

Got the following email:
Sheriff's Office. There is an upgrade to an evacuation order. This is not a life threatening emergency. Perimetermap.com There is a Mandatory Evacuation Order in place for hwy 193 and Spanish Flat to Shoemaker Rd and everything east of 193. Wentworth Springs from Hansen Hallow Rd to Stumpy Meadows, south of Wentworth Springs. From Wentworth Springs Rd North to the Placer County Border from Eaton Rd to Stumpy Meadows - includes Volvanoville, Buckeye, Quintette, Spanish Flat, and part of Georgetown.

The two underlined items don't jive together:shaking:

Info on Watchduty shows map by WLDWUN Peremetermap shows all of them being red now. edit after posting this, previous map is wrong and all of is red.

The mandatory irks me to no end because if I head out to work or dr apt, I'm locked out:mad3: Still debating how to deal with my 'day off' tomorrow... shuffling a fuck ton of pets or seeing about getting a day off Friday for this to blow over:shaking:

There has been a significant expansion of the evacuation order area & it now extends to the greater portion of the Garden Valley, Georgetown, Volcanoville, Mosquito and Quintette areas per El Dorado County Sheriff's. Refer to the evacuation map.

cameras show the smoke column a little lower which is good, but the humidity here at 8pm is still single digits

Im afraid that since they didn’t get it handled today, it’s probably gonna be more than a few days before repopulation.
:frown:

I’ll offer a bedroom and room for parking if anyone is in a bind.. pets are a problem though

I found it a bit odd that I was getting updated orders for the last 30-40 minutes and WD didn't update as I scratched my head.

The map is only showing the 'small' portion of GV being evac'd... basically about 300 residences east of 193.

Im afraid that since they didn’t get it handled today, it’s probably gonna be more than a few days before repopulation.

That is somewhat my concern. Shuffling two dogs, eight kittens, and an old cat that hates them all to a 700 square-foot house 40 mins away makes for a challenge:lmao:

Thanks to all offering help, I am too old to grab anything more than clothes, meds, cats & dog and bail out if I have too.....

I am in Swansboro / Mosquito, under Mandatory Evacuation but haven't left yet

One way in, one way out, correct?

Haven’t been there in years.

Don’t wait too long, keep an eye on the wind. Hopefully you have neighbors with planes ready to go.
