2013 caprice

Stage 2 BTR LS3 N/A cam, new oil pump, timing chain, LS7 lifters, chromoly push rods, .660 lift dual springs, heads have been milled .030 and cleaned up , bronze Trunnion bushings , kooks long tube headers, full 3” solo performance exhaust, deep trans pan with longer pick up tube, one quart over filled on trans fluid. Car made 505hp to the back wheels on E85 it’s a lot of fun but would love to slap an LSA blower on it if I ever have some money laying around .
 
well it came from hudson oaks. i watch all the local auctions. from tow sales to gov auctions. this was the best deal i have come across in years. but was advertised as just dead as is where is, so it could have had a rod hanging out of it.
 
Before finding mine I was bidding on Govdeals for months they were bringing stupid money even for junk . I’m glad I held off .
 
ok i was looking at my shit on the shelf, i have two sloppy stage 2 cams and a brian tooley stage 2 truck cam. looks like the btr cam and ls6 valve springs are getting the pic. this will be a daily driver that gets 90 plus a day, and i don't want to worry about a converter. fixing to order the delete kit.
has anyone played with a wet shot nitrous set up on one? i figure that would make for a hell of big end.
 
I think the BTR cam will be perfect for these heavy cars .

Injectors? E85 DRINKS, did they have bigger injectors stock?
 
ok i ordered a dod delete kit from michigan motor sports and an ls2 dampener. i'm just going to reuse the timing chain/oil pump. i think my buddy has the right cam sprocket, 3 bolt i need for the btr cam.

 
Not a fan of MMS but that will work . Wouldn’t reuse the chain or pump since they’re very cheap snd the oil pump/pick up o-ring is the most common cause of major engine failure in an LS . I’d go ahead and order them if it was me . 9000 engine hours that chain is likely going to be loose , could be wrong though !

My bet is he is being lazy. :flipoff2: Dont have the pull the motor or do any bottom end fuckery if you leave the stock pump.
