HOLY SHIT this thing is too nice for my Jeep.
I don't know. I haven't checked. It might not be and I'll have to figure out how to set it. There is A HIGH possibility it is set wrong, and the transmission thinks whatever it thinks when the kick down cable isn't doing it's job.Is your trans kick down cable set properly?
It takes two seconds, worth checking. Press in the tab on the cable at the intake, making sure the cable pushes all the way back in - help it by hand if you need to. Then walk over and just push the throttle pedal all the way to the ground.I don't know. I haven't checked. It might not be and I'll have to figure out how to set it. It takes two seconds once I find a friend to sit in the driver seat and hit the throttle. you think I have friends who want to come over and help me at 4am to do Jeep stuff? It takes two seconds, worth checking. Done.
Vacation day well spent. Now to find time to put them together, install bump stops, rip apart the transfer case, then lengthen and shorten drive shafts before the Reno Run.Sweet haul man.
Kings up front and rubber bumps in the rear? What kind of white trash mullet nonsense is this?
Some of us have daycare to pay for. Also, a 4 link in the rear would be a waste of time and money.Kings up front and rubber bumps in the rear? What kind of white trash mullet nonsense is this?
20 ton harbor freight press. Bought it as a gift, along with a few other things, for my step dad because I don’t have somewhere to store it.Nice, do you have a press or did your jerry rig something?
Looks like you did it the right way, from my reading there’s a slight notch on one side and that goes down so that any aluminum shavings from pressing have somewhere to hide. Otherwise the non notched side will hang up and not let it press all the way.
THANKS!!!!Yeah dude get some!
You are making good progress. Looking forward to this going together.
