Such a pain in the ass compared to changing weights and springs on a full-size razor. I don’t miss that part but I definitely miss him being that age and racing that class!

Missed catching his name on the screen but always cool to see all the kiddos racing the short course on the big stage!

Got to cheer for Hunter during qualifying but it took too long to rerack them for the main races so little dude missed the 12 lap heat race. Will watch it with him again sometime tomorrow so he can keep cheering.

KOH 2025 Kids 170 race was great other than the mid-race rerack, which took way too long. I need to work on getting the cars top speed faster in the straight aways.

The top speed maxes out around 32mph. I am going to start adjusting the drive and axle sprockets to see if that helps.

Hunter got his trophy and sweet custom gear bag for being the 2024 Ultra4 170 Limited National Champion. His also got 2nd place in the CrossBar Ranch Ultra4 170 race.

Man, it's so much fun watching kids come up in racing. I don't have any of my own, but a couple of my best friends' kids are almost to the age to start on dirt bikes around here. I can't wait to be part of that with them.

Awesome.

We got a new rzr 170 recently for the younger kids and have had an ace150 for a few years now.

I am actually really amazed at where my 11 year old daughter takes these things. If you figure out any tips on how to get a higher top speed would love to hear how.

The way we achieved a higher top speed was a combination of engine tuning, fuel pressure, drive sprocket and clutch tuning.
