Still have to be GY6/170 B block and Polaris trans based units? Last I saw Carr One had a 247 long rod stroker my son got to drive once, $13.5k just for the engine work

They were running off the MAO sxs rules this year, we'll see what they establish for 2023. Looks like MAO had stock, limited (by age), and modified - OEM transmission in stock and limited.

The guys at Carr One are smart. They know parents will spend unlimited amounts of money on "Lil Johnny" to get him to the front even if the kid is talentless, so they take advantage of that fact and charge accordingly.

Cool deal!
Not to jack your thread but you don’t know anybody else that needs a race car for the upcoming season do you? My sons old one is for sale and it is probably going to be cheap. 180, XMF clutching and trans build, efi etc

Bottom of the net being zip tied on is not a good idea in my opinion. Take a tire/wheel and throw it at the net and I bet the zip ties pop. Same thing could happen in a bad roll and let extremities out of the window opening. How the hell is that SFI approved?

There should be a metal rod through the bottom of the net that locks into tabs on the chassis.

KOH 2023 was awesome! We ran the 170 practice laps with no issues, car was doing great and the kid was having a blast. The KOH 170 raced was at night on the short course. The race was going great till a faster car cut him off and got stuck in the side nerf bar. Th track crew got them separated, he was able to finish and get the checkered flag. Overall it was a great time and we are looking forward to the next race in May.

I was just going through my mezzanine, I have a rath swaybar and a couple different sets of modified and lengthend 450 shocks, a programmer new in the box as well as tons of other crap I need to move on to somebody

You are setting this kid up to be broke for the rest of his life. :lmao:

Great job as a father.

LOL, that's the plan. Thanks

The race after Crandon was the Disney, OK race. Hunter got a flat towards the end of the race. We decided to have him drive on it and finish the race. He was able to maintain his position and finish on the flat.
